The height of arrogance.... To think you could do/did do the same level of scouting of a player... As a professional nfl team.... just by looking at YouTube highlights.
All your credibility. Gone. Just like that.
Somehow....I think I'll manage.
Besides, internet credibility never really seemed like a great bargaining chip in the first place. Most people either agree with you or disagree with you all the same, and the last time I checked the board
didn't have an official credibility score keeper. If internet credibility can be measured, it seems as though we're each responsible for tallying our own credibility. Implementing the honor system, of course. Otherwise it would be far too easy for people to fabricate out of thin air, ya know what I mean? While I have never disclosed the exact amount of credibility I have accumulated, and certainly have no intention on dosing so now, I will say that it is quite significant. Like, a whole lot. If we were talking about a volume of water I would conservatively estimate that I have no less than 3 gallons. Not trying to boast; just trying to give you a little insight into the significance of this loss.
Fortunately for me however, we are our own scorekeepers, which means I have to regretfully inform you that I hereby reinstate any credibility that has been taken from me. Furthermore, because I have likely neglected myself over the past 9-1/2 years when it comes to keeping score, I'm going to adjust my credibility just a tiny bit. I'm quite confident that if you were to look at the Internet Credibility bylaws that you'd find such an adjustment is entirely appropriate.
Now, if you don't have anything to add to the discussion at hand as it pertains to: the Cowboys' lack of effort in scouting Morris Claiborne; the situations regarding any of the other players I mentioned; or Jerry's history of being the only voice that mattered, then I'm going to have to kindly ask you to step back as I put on my swimming trunks and prepare to dive like Scrooge McDuck into my olympic swimming pool full of glorious internet credibility.
I trust that you won't sidestep my initial comments for a 3rd time. Twice is risky but a 3rd time may give people the impression that you really don't have any sort of counter argument, and we most certainly don't want that. Can't lead people to believe that you weren't really on target with your comments. Not when credibility is at stake.
