Let's all play the powerball tomorrow, win, and force JJ to sell. What say you? Anyone know the odds of winning tomorrow?

Beevus was told that he only had a one in 286 millionth of a chance to win...to which he asked: 'Does that mean I still have a chance?'

Yep - 1-192,000,000 - piece of cake.

One lump sum of 980 million (as of today probably will go up) and after taxes you will end up with about 700 million. Don't think you'll get the team but you'll get a pretty nice suite in the stadium right next to Jer and your own Gulfstream to park next to his. All in all not bad.

P.S. Don't worry about the plane. People always talk about how stupid winners are for blowing their jackpots on stuff like that. If you win 20 million, yeah a private plane is a horrible financial move.

...700 million it's a tax write off.

How risky would it be to go after Sean Payton and/or hire a legit GM that is a football guy without Jones at the end of his name?

I am all for taking the RKR (yes, I went there)...I think Hardy should come back (if affordable) and I think they should get a legit back-up to Romo (perhaps with that 4th pick if one of the big two are there)...but, it's also time to make the assumption that guys like Lee, Dez and Tony are not going to play a full season so have a plan for that

So you think it's time for Jerry the owner to fire Jerry the General Manager?

Hmmmm how do I say this more clearly?

Jerry isn't watching film into the early hours and looking at talent on practice squads across the league.

Who says he has to? Anyone gonna have a sit down with him to discuss such things?

Pretty sure he wasn't doing any of that when he cleared the War Room against the advice of the "football people" and dialed in the QC pick so why would he need to do any of it now?

Ware was supposedly a Jerry move when Parcells was going for Spears. T.O. was Jerry.

The team may actually be better off if he was actually doing this stuff. At the very least they may be able to avoid a Morris situation where the only thing anyone knows about the guy is that he plays football because the team wrote off any chance of drafting him and skipped the homework.

Sure, he may not be scratching the itch like he has in the past but we're not all that far removed from the Roy Williams debacle, and if it were left to the "football people" I doubt Greg Hardy is seriously considered.

Make no mistake, he still wields the largest trump card in the room. Manziel is probably Jerry's biggest victory in terms of battling his addiction, and here we are a couple years and a train wreck later and everyone knows Jerry's starting to feel his skin crawl over the guy. Like an alcoholic who's gone too long without a drink, Jerry's got the shakes. It's only a matter of time before he goes back to the bottle.

As in literally never looked at him or had heard of? No, but given the investment that may as well be the case.

They didn't bring him in as one of their visits, didn't conduct a private workout, and didn't request any additional medical tests or information to determine the severity of his injury at the. According to Mo ,they didn't even talk to him at all, which means after he turned in what is probably the worst Womderlic score ever they didn't even contact him to say, "what the hell happened?" If not for Brockers, who knows if they would have even been present at his pro day.

Talking about a guy they spent the #6 overall pick on. They probably dedicated more effort just in hunting down the Bigfoot-quality home footage from Matt Johnson's playing days in Washington.

Sure, they scouted him, alright. Just about as thoroughly as anyone else with access to YouTube could.

The height of arrogance.... To think you could do/did do the same level of scouting of a player... As a professional nfl team.... just by looking at YouTube highlights.

All your credibility. Gone. Just like that.

Somehow....I think I'll manage.

Besides, internet credibility never really seemed like a great bargaining chip in the first place. Most people either agree with you or disagree with you all the same, and the last time I checked the board didn't have an official credibility score keeper. If internet credibility can be measured, it seems as though we're each responsible for tallying our own credibility. Implementing the honor system, of course. Otherwise it would be far too easy for people to fabricate out of thin air, ya know what I mean? While I have never disclosed the exact amount of credibility I have accumulated, and certainly have no intention on dosing so now, I will say that it is quite significant. Like, a whole lot. If we were talking about a volume of water I would conservatively estimate that I have no less than 3 gallons. Not trying to boast; just trying to give you a little insight into the significance of this loss.

Fortunately for me however, we are our own scorekeepers, which means I have to regretfully inform you that I hereby reinstate any credibility that has been taken from me. Furthermore, because I have likely neglected myself over the past 9-1/2 years when it comes to keeping score, I'm going to adjust my credibility just a tiny bit. I'm quite confident that if you were to look at the Internet Credibility bylaws that you'd find such an adjustment is entirely appropriate.

Now, if you don't have anything to add to the discussion at hand as it pertains to: the Cowboys' lack of effort in scouting Morris Claiborne; the situations regarding any of the other players I mentioned; or Jerry's history of being the only voice that mattered, then I'm going to have to kindly ask you to step back as I put on my swimming trunks and prepare to dive like Scrooge McDuck into my olympic swimming pool full of glorious internet credibility.

I trust that you won't sidestep my initial comments for a 3rd time. Twice is risky but a 3rd time may give people the impression that you really don't have any sort of counter argument, and we most certainly don't want that. Can't lead people to believe that you weren't really on target with your comments. Not when credibility is at stake.
