The Cowboys want to see another season from him, he’ll be playing under the tag.

Silly me. I thought I was going to be the first poster in this thread to say this was good news and Dallas should move on from him next year. Didn't realize so many thought of him the same as I do.

It’s not even a discussion, really. Schultz is steady & reliable, but to pay a player who should be the fourth or fifth option on this team doesn’t make good fiscal sense.

No defensive coordinator is sitting around this offseason trying to figure out how to stop Schultz lol.
Yeah. At one point Jarwin was more of a threat.

It's basically the Beasley situation all of again. Beasley was a nice reliable player but was only like the 8th best/most valueable player on offense for that 2018 season. Not exactly the type of player you want to pay high market rate for.

You can't stop him,......you can only hope to contain him. :muttley:

Schultz is acting up with hopes of persuading Jerry to pay Schultz like a top 3 TE. That's not going to happen. Hope Jerry & Stephen stay firm and refuse to overpay for Schultz's services.

The Top 3 TE pay:

1) Kittle: $15 mil
2) Kelce: $14.3 mil
3) Goedert: $14.25 mil

No way Schultz is worth Top 3 pay. Offer him between $10 - $12 mil. If he refuses, let him go after this season.
