No fan spin and need of scape goat. Jerry is at fault because of major injuries on both sides of the ball? Yes I know he should have had a great QB waiting in the wings like every other team does? Oh that is right every team does not have that luxury. Any moves the Cowboys have made that pan out was McCray and or Stephen it is only the ones that don't bear fruit is Jones. Almost comical how some peoples mindset is.

Manziel..............Johnny Football.

The man was SALIVATING.

Don't sit there and act like he's polishing his halo.

Thank GOD for Stephen that day.

Yes he was thinking about Manziel and as owner/ GM he could have taken him if that is what he wanted Stephen Jones his son does not own the Dallas Cowboys Jerry can do anything without permission Stephen can't do just anything he wants. I'm glad others within the organization were able to persuade Jerry from taking Manziel and glad Jerry is willing to listen and take the advice but make no mistake Stephen is not controlling Jerry Jones.

Track record, my man.

His rep precedes him.

Jerry's fault, not ours.

Jerry is the reigning NFL Executive of the Year, has 3 Super Bowl rings, won a National Championship as a college football player, is a self-made billionaire, and turned the Dallas Cowboys into the most valuable sports franchise in the world.

Track record, like you said.

I'm pretty sure most of the hate towards Jerry is based on jealousy. He's way better at life than 99.9% of his haters.

20% chance of re-breaking and basically being done for the season seems like terrible odds to me.

but the 20% chance of rebreaking it is not time dependent. It means it could happen next week or year from now. If Dez has inherintly poor circulation to that area of bone (and thus the first break was chronic not acute) then he very well might rebreak it. If the initial injury was acute (sudden) and has healed correctly then there is no reason for him to sit.

Got it. Thanks for the clarification Wood.

Have no interest in Johnny Football, you expect leadership from the QB and based on his off the field and on the field issues I have no desire to see him in Dallas.

he changed all that in offseason, and is different person now. he started one game and looked good, and won the game.
Then they went back to josh and back to losing lol.

The NFL is still investigating Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel's recent driving incident, but the league could discipline Manziel before that probe is complete, if it believes that he violated the personal conduct policy.
The policy states that anyone believed by commissioner Roger Goodell to be in violation can be placed on paid leave at any time.

Manziel was stopped by police on Oct. 12 in Avon, Ohio, and questioned after witnesses saw Manziel and girlfriend Colleen Crowley arguing in a vehicle. The argument escalated to the point that Crowley tried to leave the car as it exited a highway.

Crowley said Manziel hit her and pushed her head against the glass while driving. She also told police that she feared for her life at one point.
She told police she did not want to press charges and later posted on social media that she and Manziel were fine. Manziel also posted on social media, saying the argument looked worse than it was.
A witness reported that Manziel passed her car on the highway's shoulder at a high rate of speed then crossed several lanes to exit the highway. As he did, Crowley tried to leave the moving car, and Manziel pulled her back in. The witness said Manziel was "flying" on the highway and that she noticed Manziel hitting Crowley.

I'm sorry Oct 12 of this year. Manziel is an idiot do not want him anywhere near Dallas. Guy is loser and sure as heck would not depend on him given his action off the field. injury are one thing teams and players can do nothing about it. His conduct he controls and the man is too stupid to depend on.
