Would The Cowboys Take Up Cap Space For a 1 to 2 Year Deal For OBJ? at 10 Mill a Year.

i think its silly...he signed for 4.25M last year around the same time and hes a year older, with one more injury. Even prorating hes not in the market of 10M a year.

I bet he gets something along the lines of what he got from LA last year in the 3-4 M range and a good ammount of it as incentives.

What they didn't want to give Amari Cooper, they will have to give to OBJ to secure his services. So I don't think it will happen.

He'll be in the 4-5 million range this season, I can't see him getting the multi-year deal he's looking for though. He may see a 3 year 20 million deal, but I just can't see a team offering more.

For half a year four million sounds about right. For a full year 11 million easy. But Dak's cap hit is 49 million next year. Tank's hit is 26 million, so it sounds like we'd lose Tank or Zeke to keep OBJ.

As a Homer... forget OBJ. If we have to lose one of our home grown players for him, I don't want him. I like our guys.

To make it his Home and Wherever he goes his going to want at lease a 3 Year Deal..20 Mill sounds reasonable just under 7 Mill Per Season

I've seen some other sources saying a deal may hover more around $4-6 mil a year. At that price I think the signing is a no-brainer.

Also, I’m reading he’ll be fully healed and ready to go early December. So I’m assuming he’s going to want a multi year deal and not a rental deal.

There’s a potential out of Gallup’s contract after next season so maybe OBJ makes sense if you can do like a 3 year deal and let MG walk. Just not sure if the financials will work out.
