Why? He has balled out under Dan Quinn two years in a row and signed for WAY under market value. It's one of the best deals for a starting LB in the league.
Ya until he gets hurt again, that neck of his has become a rubber band.

So.. now that Zeke’s gone. Who’s his replacement?

And don’t say Pollard. Yes Pollard is the top RB now.. but we need a 2nd back in todays NFL and I don’t think Dowdle or Davis is the answer. ( Preferably a big back, imo)

Drafting one is prob the best option.. but what RD? And who exactly?

I don’t think it would happen, but I’d love to have Damien Harris. He’s a stout back that still has burst
Draft one early and one late. See if a practice squad guy (Davis or other) can beat out the late round pick.

Need to leave roster spots available to develop young players. Signing a free agent and drafting a RB leaves zero room for a player like Davis.

I wish we still had Aaron Shampklin and Qadree Ollison.

From draft analysis, he is a 5' 10" 216-pound 'plodder' type back that ran a 4.5 time in the 40. He may make a good #2 or #3 back but truth be told it would be nice to get a running back more in the mold of Pollard (a speedy back that can make catches out of the backfield) especially given Pollard is coming off a major injury and is on a 1-year franchise tag.
I really like Devon Achane. Although smaller at 5' 8" and 188 pounds, he ran a 4.32 time in the 40 and is a former track star with madden joystick moves with a constant home run threat. He is projected as a 2nd round prospect and would fit nicely in the Dallas backfield.
Plodder? Did you watch the video? Thats not the way he looks on tape. Great vision, shifty, nice movement and agility.

Big play back that can catch out of the backfield. Reminds me a lot of Pollard.

Achane is good as well. Little too small for my liking.

Dont think we need to go as high as the 2nd round to get another good back. Ill take a look at Achane on tape.

Going based on reports and his 4.5 time in the 40.

I agree.

I just hope they’re able to grab a bigger/thicker RB that can dive into the Endzone and/or dirty yards (like the yards Zeke typically collected)

I’m not convinced that Pollard can handle that on a regular basis, and quite frankly not sure that I want him to. And David doesn’t seem big enough for that role.

That said, drafting a late RD back seems likely.. or if all else fails.. they’ll surely be a vet waiting for a call by camp

They were able to keep their top 2 FA’s in LVE and Wilson. Got rid of a bad contract in Zeke. Traded for a position of need in Gilmore. Restructured several contracts and currently have over 16 million in cap space for future trades or signings. And don’t forget getting rid of Moore and keeping Quinn.

And I believe, more to come.

Noooo. Stop saying anything positive.

We hate our team.

I mean, we love the team (circa Super Bowl VI, XXVI), but since then, I hate them and I hate myself … and I hate all of you guys.

Take a look at the tape. Watched Achane. You will like Isreal better.

Took a look and either the teams he played against were slow or his 4.5 time at the combine was deceiving as he runs like someone with much better speed.... but I fear Dallas will simply ignore both.

You never really know what's gonna happen with these gum flappers. That's the problem with people who talk from both sides of their mouths constantly, we just can't trust what they say.

I am surprised, in a good way, they traded for gilmore.
