If you dont like it cry baby, then just avoid the thread.

I never said I don't like it. Actually, it is pretty entertaining. Not your point, of course because everyone pretty much knew that Murray sucked by the time they went to sleep last night. I'm talking about your attempt at circumventing the spirit of what admin it trying to do here at Cowboyszone. Just that you are so desperate to post about Murray is interesting to see.

So, I don't want to avoid the thread at all. I want to see where your elementary attempt at restating the same thing takes you.

If that bothers you and you feel the need to name call, then I do apologize for that, I guess.

Maybe next time you shouldn't make such a clumsy attempt.

I agree. I would love to see him get a few carries to see what he can do.

Randle looks like a JAG right now. If he doesn't get into the swing of things, our running game is in trouble. Let's hope CM finds a way to please the staff enough with his progress to convince them to give him a try.

Joseph Randle - 16 carries, 65 yards, 4.1 YPC.

What is your argument? That our O-Line can elevate average play? Because I didn't see it.

He played about how I expected all offseason. Just slower to the hole.

Yes slower to the hole and not very strong he gets knocked around way to easily and goes down very easy. i would like to see what a power back does running same play's if he's able to break 1st tackle which is what Murray was so good at last year.

They're going to have problems this week

Far more often than not, Philly plays us plenty tough. If we play them with the same focus we displayed vs. New York, we'll likely get our arses handed to us. I'm hoping our staff really puts them thru their paces this week to prepare them for what's likely to be an extremely tough test for this team on both sides of the ball.

The thing that stands out about Randle to me is he is easy to bring down.

B/w the tackles..he doesn't break any tackles and the first guy to touch him stops him.

He runs better off tackle and on the edge.

Which makes him too similar to Dunbar.

I'd prefer to see more DMac b/w the tackles.
Randle will be just fine between the tacles when there are holes like Murray had. Their entire

So whats worse, my thread or you trolling post in my thread?

Murray, the run game and the Oline have been the hottest topic all off season. Its going to be rather silly if we all cant talk about it. Coincidentally if you continue to troll me, Ill just put you on ignore. :)

Well that is one way to make sure your thread on Murray doesn't get moved to the NFLZone.

You just back-door'ed it by making the title Cowboys related, knowing the conversation will turn to Murray and his poor showing.

There was very little running room last night. Now if the Oline isnt going to open up holes like last year, then by all mean we will struggle with the backs we have.

Nothing better than a Referendum Tuesday.

After all, all season results are determined after Week 1.

Honestly, you don't have a clue what you're talking about. I spent two hours going over the coaches tape this morning. Randle did farily well with what he had. He went down on first contact all of 2-3 times the entire game. It's Tuesday, none of the blatant agenda driven hate works at this point. Those of us who watch the coaches film are in majority agreement. Randle could have been better, but he was light years ahead of where many of you project him,

That's certainly a valid statement but the early returns are just a bit alarming to say the least. Here's an idea; let's hope things change to our mutual liking, whatever it might take. Our intensity needs to get ratcheted up if we have serious thoughts of beating Philly at their place. I'll be counting on that being the case.

Alarming? Hyperbole much?

I think everyone wants better results from the running game, just some of us realize Randle actually did an adequate job. He's not on the field in a vacuum, there are other aspects to consider such as play calling, the spread and how the Giants defend us. Browse my thread where I broke down Randle's runs. You might be a little surprised.

Agreed. Randle is starting, which is a lot more than many said. And he is getting most of the carries. Lets not forget he had 47 yards receiving with a beautiful one handed catch that I have never seen Muddy do.

Be my guest on the ignore thing if it'll make you happy.

As far as Murry and the OL having been a hot topic... well, I agree. I didn't say I wanted your thread moved to the NFL Zone... It was fine for the fan zone as far as I was concerned. However, if the the board administration wants my thread in the NFL Zone, I certainly wouldn't come behind them and simply re-word it and put it right back where they had just moved it from.

Like I said, it was a clumsy attempt.

That is what I'm talking about. I actually agree that Murray looked bad and the Dallas ran the ball ok considering they fell so far behind because of the turnovers.

All you are doing is trolling me and trying to get me in trouble. Thats cry baby behavior. As far as Murray, you were one of the first to even mention him. The majority of this thread is about Randle.

Another troll goes on my ignore list. I have decided to take the high road when the trolls come around.

I've been watching Randle since he first joined the team with Murray there to run defenses ragged before he joined in the fray. Keep watching the tape and maybe you'll realize that fairly well isn't what this team needs to feed the bulldog. Nobody loves this team more than yours truly, so don't spout that hate garbage to me, OK? You're absolutely right when saying Randle could have been better, though, but saying he's light years ahead of where he's being projected is a gross exaggeration at best. I will be hoping for Randle to do better this week -- let's just hope and pray that he does.

I prefer to see it as CowboyRoy learning gradually how to use the various Zones. He might start off like Christine Michael, insisting on carrying the ball in his lead hand for some reason, but we'll just keep knocking out that ball until he eventually learns, or gets benched.

That's on the thread starting topic only, though. He's free to pretend Jason Garrett has no role in the offense all he wants if he enjoys chasing and catching his own tail on that topic.

As for the topic of the thread, yes, it does look like a good OL is important to the running game. It's early, but that appears to be very true.

That's the best policy. And we'll tell you if thread starting or we think you're intentionally putting content in the wrong forums, for sure.

I had to quote this comment, though, because it's maybe the funniest example of taking a high road I've seen in some time.

I'm not too worried about running game
I think we will supplement the run game with passes to the backs
CM won't be active if we add another WR who is active

Thanks Buddy!!!! :)

And Garrett may have a small little tiny hand, but not the whole hand like he used to. Im sure you can at least agree that everyone involved in the Cowboys is thanking their lucky stars for that one, including you.

So who would take as an OC Garrett or Linehan? :muttley:
