CATCH17;3313313 said:I like how he said Dallas NEEDS Jordan Shipley. That is the word I have thrown around when talking about us drafting him.
Not only will the guy kill it in the slot he plays 4 different positions.
With his abilitiy to stretch the middle of the field as well as be a posession guy it just seems like such a no brainer pick for us.
Also is there a receiver with better hands in this draft?

cowboyjoe;3313380 said:I dont like shipley personally, he is a 6th year senior i believe, for first 2 years he did nothing at college, reports are he has trouble getting off of the line and he is slow, remember he ran a 4.57 real slow for a wr.

CATCH17;3313542 said:Shipley is a lot of things but slow is not one of them. And he is quick.
He was injury plagued early in his career at Texas too but when the guy turned it on he made plays and it did not matter the stage.
I don't see any upside for the guy other than a #3 receiver. I think he is extremely average the further he is away from the QB but in the slot he could be something special.
When Texas lost their TE, his jr season, he basically became that teams TE when he worked the slot. Absolutely unguardable.

just doesnt stand out to me; i could be wrong, wont be the first time and wont be the last time either, but im more right than wrong i think
i promise you he had no troble off the line and isnt slow please wait till his pro day on the 31st and he will run in the 4.4_ range. in the mean time watch this video and see how he stacks up up next to dez bryant, mardy gilyard, and damian williamscowboyjoe;3313380 said:I dont like shipley personally, he is a 6th year senior i believe, for first 2 years he did nothing at college, reports are he has trouble getting off of the line and he is slow, remember he ran a 4.57 real slow for a wr.
