The Eagles because this team from the top down prefers to be “comfortable” and therefore has gone into turtle mode. They refuse to take risks on the sideline or on the roster and would rather play it safe and win 10-12 games a year with players that are comfortable with the HC and FO then do whatever it takes to acquire the ultimate prize.

All you have to do is look at the HC hires and FA acquisitions the FO has been responsible for and the attitude of the players who seem to care more about off days and family visits than actually winning football games.

This is why it will be the same thing next year. A Jones will always be on the GM office and even if they fire MM and DQ they will be replaced by the safest hires you can imagine. Those hoping for a Billy B. hire are kidding themselves as Jerry will never give the final say to a HC which is something Bill will demand.

The Eagles will certainly take a more change-based approach. Roseman and Sirianni are gone, IMO. Six months ago, they were among the best to ever run an NFL team.

Ha ha, the Cowboys had a bad game. They were flat offensively and GB came out swinging. They're top MLB is a 215 pound safety. It's a wonder teams didn't take a lot more advantage of that.

It's a little different than a team in who completely collapsed in every facet of their game. Their defense folded, their QB got paid, looks to run first, and seems disinterested at times. Their star $$$ WR quit and pouted. They seriously can't beat anyone right now.

Eagles because they are more willing to get rid of guys. And it appears the owner has no issue getting rid of a HC, even a SB one, when things slide.

They are proactive and not reactive.

The Eagles got rid of Wentz 3 years after winning a Super Bowl no questions asked. These people treat Dak like Tom Brady who also got let go by the Patriots.

Eagles...no question.

The Joneses are beaten to the punch on just about everything football-related.

In Jerry's mind I don't think we need to recover we get right about to wear he wants us to get every year just stay relevant with a coach that keeps him comfortable and he doesn't have to spend a lot of money in free agency or before the trade deadline he's happy with his guys make the playoffs keep him relevant and making money I think the trophy means nothing to him anymore.

The eagles have proved they can change coaches quarterbacks and rebuild the team lickety split and I believe winning a super bowl is their goal not just staying relevant.

Philly has to rebuild more of its roster. They’ll be taking more than a few steps back. I doubt they’ll make the playoffs next season, regardless of who they may manage to attract to be the new head coach. Their only advantage is their owner does not consider himself knowledgeable about football on the playing field level.

I think it depends on what one defines as “recovers”. IMO, Dallas has a better chance to go 12-5 and win the Division again next year than Philly does, history notwithstanding. But if one considers recovery to be an NFCCG appearance, no question it’s Philly.

There are teams I hate like Philly, GB, Pittsburgh and SF. But I respect them as an organization far more than the Cowboys.

Cowboys, the Eagles are a disaster that D is a mess and they are cap strapped with many players including Hurts who is not the real deal. If your a coach would you take the Philly Job? They fired Pederson that won a Super Bowl and now they most likely will fire Sirianni who almost won a
It's the Eagles, easily.

For the very simple reason that Lurie and Roseman are willing to pull the plug QUICKLY when things don't work. They pulled the plug on Chip Kelly when it was clear he was done. They dumped Pederson, despite winning a SB a few years earlier when things went sideways. They realized Wentz was an issue and dumped him just a couple years into his massive extension. Sirianni was in the SB last year and it's possible he might be done this week.

Jerry is a stubborn old fool. He can talk about how he's some sort of wildcat but he's afraid of change.

As for the cap, we are in no better shape than them. And we have some massive extensions due that's going to eat up what little cap we do have.

What’s the definition of “recovered”? If it’s which team will rebuild, it can’t be the Cowboys because our FO does not do rebuilds.

A simple barometer is making it to a conference title game because that means you are a contender to make it to the SB.

I think the Cowboys are in a better spot but both teams have major issues to deal with. The Eagles stars are getting old and with Kelce retiring and Hurts damaged goods, I think they have a tall hill to climb.

The Eagles are better off with CAP space at the moment. If Kelce retires immediately, the Eagles will take a $12 million cap hit. If he retires after June 1, they get some CAP relief this year. But the bigger problem we saw last night is Cam Jurgens was overhyped and he is not nearly as good as Kelce was. The Eagles OL is going to suffer without Kelce. They have some pieces on the DL though. That is going to help them going forward.

The Eagles recovery is going to depend on Hurts. He really looks bad right now. Under pressure he just sucks. Just how damaged is he. It looks like he has lost his teammates. Brown and even Goedert appear to be fed up with him. That could set the Eagles back years. The Eagles problems may start at the top, with the HC. If the Eagles fire Siriani, don't be surprised if they try to swoop in and grab Harbaugh of Vrabel before the Cowboys can sign them.

The Cowboys have CAP problems and they have to do something about Dak. If they let him go, there is no telling how long it will take to find another QB. The bigger problem in Dallas is they do not have the defensive front the Eagles have. If the Eagles focus on LBs and secondary their defense could get a lot better fairly quickly because they have the pieces on the DL. The Cowboys need a rebuild of their front 7. Unless Mazi make a miraculous improvement over the next year they will need to find players to get beefier and stronger. They also need a new DC.

I think it is a tough choice, but I think if the Cowboys play their cards right, they can recover more quickly than the Eagles. But it may take a couple of years.

Eagles have been to 7 NFCG, 3 Superbowls and winning one since the Cowboys last reached a NFCG.

They might have more roster issues and they need to look at their coaches too but they are proactive and not shy to pull the trigger.

Jerry is cool with being in the media spotlight for some time. The final result doesnt matter as long as the cash is coming in

Roseman seems to almost thrive on rebuilding, making a lot of the right moves and finding the answers. He has a real challenge this off season. If he gets it done it likely will take him a few seasons. You never really know but given his track record you have to give the Eagles the edge. One thing is for sure he is going to come out swinging and trying his best.

You cannot say the same about the longggggggggggg Jerry Jones & Son history of putting together a roster and coaching staff.

Edge Eagles.
