That's definitely wrong and not right at all. I am a fan of advanced stats but sometimes they don't make sense at all.

Cowboys even with the two sacks have easily been top 10 as a unit if not top 7 ish.

Yesterday they didn't play great and it still didn't look terrible

The Lions changed up their defense some and changed some tactics during their bye week. They were doing things that Dallas hadn’t seen on film yet.

That and Hutchinson is a good player made the OL look not so great. They figured it out after halftime and looked better though.

Nothing to really worry about though. The OL is getting better every week and they’re already playing pretty decent.

‘People should pay attention to what they’re seeing during the game rather than some ratings on the internet. You can see that they’re not bad. They’re not great either… but they’re improving rather quickly.

Don't mean this to be a dig at Dak, but he has a tendency to hold onto the ball and try to make plays. Just a difference is style, but someone like Rush who will not make a ton of plays down field but get the ball out quicker will do more to help this oline look good than Daks Style. Granted there were plays yesterday that it didn't matter who the QB was they were going to get hit I'm not sure it is a coincidence that this oline has had its worst games in Daks starts. The exception there is the Eagle game which they were very up and down.

Again not meant to be a pro or con for either Dak or Rush but we have two QBs with different styles of play, and it will be something to keep an eye on moving forward, and the reason I hope Dak can adopt some of what we saw with Rush.

2 sacks against Dak against the Bucs and 2 sacks yesterday and now Dak is running for his life….again:rolleyes:

Excuses for what? The OL was a concern coming into the season...and I highlighted a stat showing that our blocking in pass protection is not good.

Yea, I agree. Romo was the same - the playmaker in them wants to hold on to the ball so you do get some sacks but you also get the roll outs for 1st down / big plays / etc...

Regardless - our pass protection has to improve if we want to make a legit run. Getting a healthy Tyron back and kicking Tyler inside would help a ton IMO.
