The hope is with more experience these Tackle continue to get better. Right now both are real good run blocking, but need to improve as pass protectors.

I have some hope for Tyler that he'll get better but Steele is a 3rd year player. Hasn't started every year but this might be what we get with him.

Steele took a huge leap forward in yr 2 and has been real solid thus far. Much better on the right side then he was at LT. Not sure if he's maxed out, but he is turning into a quality player. Heard the Cowboys got several calls about him in the offseason.

He’s solid, I’d say he’s a league average type RT. I hope he does continue to improve bc we need it.

Watch him in the run game, he is excellent. Agree, needs to get better in pass protection.

I find it hard to believe they are 32nd in the league, but thee is no doubt in my mind they are better run blockers than pass blockers.
I agree
I don’t think 32nd is right at all
Both QB’s have had decent time most of the time
They’ve been beat some but not that often

So according to this we were the #1 O-line in the league before the Lions game in sacks given up (9) and now we are tied for 3rd with (11).

Yep, granted the Cowboys have one of the lowest qb ratings in the NFL, but so do the Bears and they've given up twice as many sacks. Pressures generate sacks and the Cowboys haven't given up many of these. Sometimes stats don't tell the entire story, but this is one of those times I think it tells most of it.

This is not to you OP, i am just commenting in general.

It has been clearly evident our pass rush needs improvement. You can't just look at sacks against the QB as the lone metric to validate ignorance about our pass blocking. Let's take pressure as an example, it is a stat that is huge when it comes to the QB. You pressure a QB and make them uncomfortable, there's a high chance they make errant and unorthodox decisions. Unless they are a scrambler, it's more effective with pure pocket passers, but then you have another conversation. Just my two cents.

Our pass rush or pass protection?

We have given up 11 sacks this year #3rd best in the league, before yesterday we were #1 (9).

Sacks aren’t the end all be all. Cowboys schemed to get the ball out quick with Rush to protect him and the OL.
