truth is, we aren't gonna tag him for the entire season. At some point before June or july, we will have a deal in place to either trade him or keep him long term.
$105 million guaranteed is pretty dang good offerJJ poised to ruin this team AGAIN. Market value is dictating salary. JJ really showing the love or the lack thereof. Come on down Cooper, next man up...…???? Dak it's your turn to be the Fall Guy.
That's what I thought, thanks! An unsigned player can’t be fined because they aren’t technically on the team or something like that. Zeke is different than Dak in that regard
not my idea of a plan either..but THIS is how the Joneses operate. UNCONVENTIONAL AS HELL.So they "trade him" in June or July? After free agency and the draft have already happened? Some plan...
I’m not sure why we’re so scared to let him test the market. It’s highly unlikely a team would be willing to part with two firsts.

WELL..lets hope this gets resolved soon.If you're in June or July, any trade is off the table.
That's not what the new CBA says, that can not be legally enforced. He has to sign the tag before he can be forced to do anything. That applies to players who are franchise tagged and refuse to report
The Cowboys have placed the exclusive franchise tag on Dak Prescott, according to a source. The Cowboys’ hope is to sign Prescott to a long-term deal well before July 15 but recent talks have not gone far. Since the system has been in place, only eight quarterbacks have been tagged and only two have played under the tag the entire season: Kirk Cousins twice (2016-17) in Washington and Drew Brees in 2005 in San Diego. Next question: Will Prescott show up for offseason work without deal?

I believe this now too.Cooper is gone.
Cooper is gone.
Terrence Copper is available?? WHY AREN'T WE DOING EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO SIGN COPPERWe are. Someone mentioned getting Copper deal done ASAP.
Whether you're in the you LIKE Dak or you DON'T like Dak camp, one thing is crystal clear...……………….Jerry and Stephen ABSOLUTELY messed this entire 2020 scenario up. Their 1st mistake was not signing Dak when he was at his cheapest point (towards the end of 2018 after Amari came to town).
