I am a bit concerned that they plan to go back to the 'no feature back' thing they tried last year before everyone realized it was stupid and not working.

Neither of these signings should dissuade us from taking the best available RB.

If you're looking for a positive for this, I'll offer you this. 3 years ago he was a 1200 yard 4.9YPC back for philthy. He's only had about 180 carries in Carolina with crap production. I don't believe, he's had a catastrophic injury, these last 2 years. Maybe he has something and just wasn't a fit....

He was disgruntled there though. Plus they had no intentions of winning. Now who knows what Cowboys intentions are but could I see a possible resurgence like we saw with McFadden and Alfred Morris? Maybe. You just never know.

I actually like this signing, at his height he was as good as what we lost in Dowdle. Even with these signings, doesn't prevent a high rb to be taken.

The reason it failed was clearly there was no RB2 on the roster not because it was stupid.

Once they started Rico as the workhorse it got as close to normal as it could.

....or is this our Football Genius trying to prevent teams 'trading up' to get ahead of us for Jeanty. Every GM is under the impression that Jezzah is unlikely to sign two FA's at a position (especially if one that's semi-famous) and then draft high in same position.
This may be as calculated as his strategy on trading Amari??
