News: Cowboys plan to sign RB Miles Sanders

this dude sucks lol. we had the worst rb room in the league last year and have somehow downgraded that

RB depth is sorely needed, but I just hope we get Jeanty or Hampton in Rd 1. I have a sick feeling Da Bears will grab Jeanty, so it depends on where we are with Hampton

Even with this RB signing I see it as only a depth move.

I don’t believe the week 1 starter is on the roster yet.

I remember him. He was Westbrook's backup I think? That was a long time ago it seems. Penn State kid. He never reached his full potential in the NFL. He was pretty talented in the college ranks. Had a bit of a fumbling issue. Should be interesting. I think he had a thousand yard year with the Eagles.

Sanders is a change of pace back like Pollard was. He’s fast through the hole and can catch the football.

Is it better to have two ****** RBs that cost $5-6 million combined vs 1 average RB that costs $5-6 million by himself? It is if you are Stephen Jones. I still don't understand the strategy. Last year, we couldn't afford Zach Moss that signed for $4 million AAV. Instead, we got Zeke. So it looks like we won't go above $3 million AAV for a RB.

The salary cap is almost $300 million. Trying to save $1-2 million here and there to get worse players makes no sense to me. Maybe I'm missing the bigger picture.

He never backed up Westbrook.
