Good point about the question marks, though I don't think it's two. Williams gives us a high floor at LG. Maybe McGovern takes it from him, but Williams is probably better there for pass protection.
C is the big question, but Looney is the floor there with potential upgrades from McGovern or Biadasz.
I'm hoping for McGovern at C. He played it a year in college. Came into the league with NFL ready power. Biadasz is probably not ready for nfl power.
Williams and McGovern are probably our top two for those two slots. Let Biadasz take over as swing interior for Looney next year.
For the top three, we're as strong as we've been since 2016, with Tyron and Martin healthy, and Collins really a borderline Pro Bowler last year. Probably was playing at a Pro Bowl level by the end of the season, should break through this year.
you'd have to trace back to tyler Biadasz's 2018 tape before he occurred the hip-shoulder issues,
- you dont find a Dave Rimington award winner lacking in power. you have to factor if those prior health issues limited him more than what he is ususal like, and that had to have factored iin him dropping in the draft.
Tyler was very instrumental in Wisconsin's vaulted run attack, and his rep has him as if he gets his big mitts on you, .it;s over.
- from i ve seen his tape and profile, it seems to be a matter of coach up technique to make sure he doesn't over commit and over bend that
causes him to lose balance on occasions. otherwise da Biadasz seems to be a sound technician with strong hands, arms and a terrific football IQ
and knack for the game and the pivot position,
- In short i'd much rather go with one who has
excelled at the center position than just guys who have the versatility to play the position,
it's a different, higher level.
- If ...and only if Tyler's medical recovery is still pending and such that this wipe out off season plays a factor in his learning process
would i consider a vet Looney take the charge until Tyler gets caught up,..on both a physical and cerebral sense.
