I saw him video of throwing in the WR-DB 1-on-1drills earlier this week. He's not as fluid as what we're accustomed to seeing, but he's far from "stiff". It's more like he's holding back on going 100%.

You're just lying.
You base this on watching 1 on 1 drills? I was watching full offense practice, where he's got to do things like turn around and hand the ball off? Or, spring out? It's scary.

I can see why they are holding him out of practices though.

Soooo. Comparing him to William Shatner saying he's stove up. Not as good as Dan Pastorini. Needs a walker. Yeah. These are the rational thoughts of someone trying not to wear the Silver and Blue tinted glasses?
I never said the bolded, at all. Not anything even close to it.

The rest of the stuff is meant to be COMEDY... exaggeration by comparison. But yeah, compared to the Romo of old, now he does look alot like Shatner, looks stove up, and looks like he needs a walker out there.

Hey - I am not the one holding him out of practices now. I merely know why they are holding him out of practices.

BECAUSE HE CAN'T MOVE.

Just ignore the troll and hopefully a mod will handle it. It's quite obvious. You can have concern but this is ridiculous.

Love to see the casual fan crap in their pants over this.

I am personally not crapping my pants :), however, I have considered the possibility that Romo is on the decline.

Yes, some QBs play at a very high level into their late 30's, however, it's more the exception that the rule.

I'm just hoping it isn't this year. The thing that is <really> worrying me in the back of my mind is: what happens when Romo starts taking hard hits?

I suppose if you haven't seen him so stiff, immobile and hobbled you might think that.

It's scary to see Romo looking this way. I believe the back issue is far, far worse than he and/or Dallas is letting on.

Why don't you just take your hate and go somewhere else instead of trolling here. It's obvious you're just trying to get a reaction when in truth your just exposing yourself as a troll.

Yeah, the videos don't show Romo moving much. In fact you can't even see who's who in them.

But nah, video bombing isn't the same as trolling.

OXNARD, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo won’t practice Saturday afternoon continues to be cautious returning from back surgery, coach Jason Garrett said.

The Cowboys will have their most-physical practice yet Saturday while working on goal-line drills and situational short-yardage work.

The Cowboys had Friday off. Romo just watched in the Saturday morning walk-through.

I can't help but be alarmed by this.

Oh wait, is this one of those boards where, if you're not a true and faithful Homer, you might get banned?

Romo and Drew Brees said the same day, they want to be still playing when they are 45. Yeah, and monkeys might fly out my butt.

If that monkeys thing happens you should see a physician immediately.

Everyone thinks this way, and actually people play well into their 50s plus, but not on a professional team. It's hard to maintain the speed and strength to match the young explosive players when you're older. Injuries take longer to heal, plus some people think about what's more important to them, football, or being healthy enough to play around with your kids, and still be healthy enough to play flag ball with your buddies, instead of taking the constant abuse the NFL initiates.

Right but, both were talking NFL. At age 45.

No. Its not that type of board at all. In fact, the majority here welcome reasoned debate concerning the cowboys, whatever the viewpoint. This board has a great collection of Cowboys fans who often and vehemently disagree with one another. But for the most part, and even while disagreeing, it is a Ladies and Gentleman's conversation.
