Claiborne said he’s just been trying to work his way back into practice and get his legs under him after missing time with knee tendinitis. He missed time late in Wednesday’s practice, but it wasn’t because of his knee.

The corner fell awkwardly on his shoulder, but it wasn’t the one that was surgically repaired and he said he’s not concerned at all that it will keep him out. He said it was planned for him to sit out late anyway.

“It wasn’t like it came out or anything, it was just one of those freaky lands,” Claiborne said. “I just landed on it. It was kind of an awkward land. I felt like he took me down, but I’ll leave that for someone else. Just landed on it wrong.”

Yep. I figured they were either limiting his snaps, or limiting him because things were getting chippy and he'd been involved with it both days.

As I recall, Durant was challenging Carter for the starting WLB spot before McClain was injured and Durant had to take snaps at MLB.

I can't recall where I read that, but I saw it somewhere.

Which history? The career history that says he started and played in 15 games as a rookie and played in 10 games his second year?

Injuries have been an issue but it's not like he's even come close to missing as many games as he's played in, so I think history isn't exactly saying it's unlikely that he'll stay healthy for those four games. He's just as likely to as any other Cow ... uh oh.

So the DL had Wilber at DE, and that line was getting push. Interesting as I thought he was pegged at Sam?

Durant could play Sam, McClain at Mike and Carter at Will. Wilber may be better used at WDE (as part of a rotation) with no Ware now. I was thinking that myself before camp. He can also back up the Sam LB spot and maybe that saves a roster spot for another position.

Interesting. I have heard all kinds of reports that Durant has been very good this TC.
