Cowboys RB options

That's all I'm saying. Why do you have to make it be about anymore than that? Can't you just agree and let it go?

I never disagreed. So basically u are just saying DMC will eventually fumble, it's eventually going to rain in Dallas again, QB's get sacked, receivers drop passes once in a while, and refs throw flags...

And you have No point.....

Buck Allen was the guy I wanted in the third, but DMC would still have been better this year.

I wanted him or Mike Davis. I'd take Allen's 4.4 YPC in limited action since it is better than any of our backs are averaging. We could have traded up and got either in the fourth, but just didn't make it a priority.

This is the way the draft fell for us. I would say

Yeldon Vs. Jones but they felt Yeldon went too high as is so he was probably never even in the convo for 27th

Gregory VS Tevin Coleman and Duke

In both instances we took the better player at each spot. Instead of a solid but not spectacular HB we took a potential #1 CB who may a quality FS starter as well and a RDE with 15 sack potential.

After that you are looking at players who where very questionable starter candidates. I think the only 2 backs that were on the board that could be quality NFL starters are David Cobb, Mike Davis and Karlos Williams who wasnt in anyones radar

Wanted Cobb, too, and would have took him after missing on Allen and Davis. They might have been on Dallas' radar, but they were on mine because they showed what I look for most in backs: vision and movement skills to run between the tackles. So many of the backs who get ballyhooed build their stats by blasting through big holes or outracing lesser defenders to the outside. It's those guys who can feel their way through traffic that impress me.

Clown shoes.

You're wearing them.

Wanting to pay an old RB big money?

So what? Best case we rise from 6th in rushing per carry to 1st? A difference of likely less than a half yard?

Dance.

Don't be so insecure. So what if someone doesn't agree with you.

You prefer to pay an average DL man big money in hopes that he will someday be better than average.

I love your response btw. It's always fun to listen to someone feel so weak in their position that they have to resort to that type of response. Do you have any more?

McFadden will fumble soon is the point. You are just being stubborn. :banghead:

If he fumbles tonight and it costs us the game it's all your fault for being a jinx...:eek::mad::eek::banghead:

Is that my theory? Show me where I said that. Seems to me you are just disagreeable just for the sake of being disagreeable. McFadden fumble is coming.

When is this fumble coming? I would like to inform the Cowboy organization to keep him on the sidelines for that play.

If he fumbles tonight, it just means I was right... I called it. There is no such thing as a jinx.

4th qtr, final drive to go ahead. McFadden gets stripped and we lose the game.

No way I root against the star. We can still win if McFadden fumbles. I just hope it doesn't happen on the Boys finale drive to go ahead.

You better hope not but earlier you said hope was not gonna help us so in any event, you're responsible if it happens...o_O

In before this gets moved to the Roster Zone or one of the other sub zones.

So our running game went from being the strength of our team to being "not the problem".

Championship!!!

People tend to go to extreme lengths to protect the sanctity of the Cowboys Front Office. I will say it again until I'm blue in the face and I don't care that it's never going to be possible ever again.

The decision to not keep Demarco will go down in history as one of the worst decisions in Cowboys history.

Seattle wasn't trading Rawls.
But don't let the obvious get in the way of a good narrative.

No they weren't. But he was available in the later rounds. We could have traded for him and would have been a better option than the scrub Randle we started out with during the season.

OP forget to mention that our running game would still an issue if it weren't for Randle getting injured and MacFadden coming in as the lead dog. Our success right now has nothing to do with the RBBC. It has a become a one back system which was our bread and butter last season. Now we ditched the RBBC we are finally seeing success in the run game. Which goes to show that RBBC should not have been inserted into our scheme all along.

Mcfadden has been bustin his butt since hes become the full time starter. Can complain about his play.

He's played extremely well lately, quite possibly because the RBBC was not allowing him to get into rhythm. Glad that he's stepped up, but we're really missing Dunbar in the flat and in the slot.

Surprisingly McFadden looks like a solid starting RB. Probably better than anything we could've acquired last offseason, outside of Gurley, Gordon and Ryan Matthews. The RBBC approach clearly was a terrible idea.
