Folks who are saying the defense is too bad and that we'll go 7-9 or worse... keep in mind, the 2013 defense was historically bad and then our elite offense covered them up the following season when we went 12-4 with essentially the same personnel on defense. Theoretically our offense should be as good or even better than 2014 so there's no reason to think we won't be a really good team again. It comes down to health. I hate saying that but that's football for ya. I'm gonna assume we do stay healthy and say we go 11-5.

11-5 baby! The run game will crush the will of our opposition. The defense will get lots of rest while we pound the rock. When on the field they will be good enough. Dlaw will lead the team in sacks and we will see a noticeable improvement when he returns.

My biggest fear is a hurt Romo struggling but refusing to leave the field. If that back is too bothersome I hope he will sit and let Dak play.

If this team goes 8-8 or worse, I won't blame Garrett, I will blame the Jones. It was those two who thought hitting the bargain bin for defensive help was a wise move.

Witten still has legs, 87 looks like he can at least be an emergency outlet

The biggest difference in this team and the '14 team is quality depth along the defensive line. And better play at LB.
Still I think Crawford will have a bounce back year

I just don't see a team with all that offensive talent winning less than 9 games. Even with a suspect defense. The first team defense has played the run well, which they didn't do last year in the preseason. The pass defense will get better when they start to scheme and the emotion of the regular season starts to kick in.

The record: 12-4 and a playoff win with Tony Romo at qb. 12-4 and possibly winning the SB with Dak at qb.
