And that's the point. Like they typically do, they kind of cheaped out at a position. They convinced themselves, and some of the fans, that Washington/Tolbert would replace what was lost from 2021 in WR production. But smarter fans around here knew it was unlikely and that they simply messed up, yet again. The fact they were dancing with OBJ and signed Hilton this late tells you that they realized, they screwed up.
Luckily, it appears Hilton can help and mitigate some of the WR issues. So for that, they at least get some credit for recognizing their issues and bringing in a guy who could contribute immediately and not be a potential pain (like OBJ might have been).
