It wasn't horrible. By all accounts Howell did nothing but dink and dunk in camp and was not impressive. But suddenly one game with the 3rd stringers...and people think he'll be Nick Foles. He ain't Nick Foles.

Milton looked pretty terrible in every game I saw him except the Cardinals game and that team looked horrid. Then Milton looked like trash against the Saints the next week..

I think this is a weird move but no way was Milton a savior player like Jayden Daniels.

I guess I don't care about our backups because I don't think we are winning a SB with our main highest paid QB either. LOL

Milton is the best physical prospect we have had at QB in a very, very long time. This trash heap retreads are not going to do it. The people who win are physically gifted: Lamar, Josh, Patrick...are all gifted. Even trash Hurts is a weight room beast. We can't keep stacking the team with talent and sending them into battle with the Dak's, Kirk Cousins, Romos, etc of the world.

Milton looks like a young QB who is getting better...Howell is a journeyman backup who torches bad defenses.

Here again, Dak is a progress stopper: "We don't need Milton, we have Dak...". Is Dak the answer...so why are we giving away promising pieces?

Howell has always had that ability. He has eye-popping arm talent(not my words), good setup and release, and excellent ball placement w/ good anticipation. Very athletic. Considered a 2nd round talent predraft.

Context. Last game. All scrubs. Howell had the most pass attempts in the NFL in 2023...resulting in 21 TDs, 21 INTs.
