We won three super bowls with one of the slowest offenses in the 90s.

We could protect the QB, not commit stupid penalties, and establish the run in the 90s too.

Things we are incapable of here, so we are forced to rely on the big play - something one individual gave us 38 of in 3 years here.

Our inability to pass protect hurts us as a result of our coordinator who calls plays that demand time to develop, one would imagine an Ivy league graduate would change his playcalling. Oh wait, thats right - he felt compelled to force the ball to Owens because he would complain. Sounds like one guy has absolutely zero balls, and shouldn't be managing such a high profile unit on the Dallas Cowboys.

Holy ****! I did not expect this.

Stephen A. Smith is hating on us major lol. Offense was putrid, people keep their jobswho are incompetent (Garrett), and TO who shows up on sunday loses his. TO is devastated.
Could care less what that clown Screamin A Smith says. He does not care about the Cowboys, he only cares for TO. In fact, if you think Screamin is bad. WAIT until Deion gets a hold of this.:laugh2:

It just makes it hurt so much more that Houshmandzadeh's already signed. Wish the decision had been made in time to get him.

We don't have the room to sign Housh anyways, so it makes no difference at all Housh wanted a payday, and he wouldn't have gotten it from us.

Can't say I would have wanted him. Strikes me as a classic No. 2 receiver.
Well I think Roy can be a 1 1/2, so I'd be fine with a true 2. We don't have one now, unless you count our TEs.

Steven A Smith insinuating that Romo can't throw the ball to him and that Romo can't throw the ball under pressure. Assumes TO wants to go somewhere where he can win a championship and there's a QB there who can play (whereas Romo cant).

If he does land somewhere, I want him to land out of the NFC East.

What happens week 6?

Roy Williams will learn the playbook by then, hopefully. Oh, and we still won't be able to keep defenses honest.

BTW, Screamin' A admitted that TO thought Garrett and, yes, Witten were conspiring against him.

So once again, Werder wasn't full of crap.

Where is 5countem, again?

Anyone notice how now ESPN is now asking things like "Is this the right move? How will they replace him? Does he feel betrayed by Jerry?"

They do nothing but bash us for having him on the team, then when we cut him, they ask if we're making a mistake.

BTW, Screamin' A Smith is the biggest tool in America. I think he's about to stroke out over this news. :lmao:
It was funny when he mentioned the teams TO would be interested in. I don't think any of the teams mentioned will want him.

Smith's just pissed because he was WRONG about Dallas releasing TO. Just like a lot of the posters here right now.

This is funny. Jerry doesn't owe anything to T.O. This guy is not Emmitt, Michael, or Troy. I guess T.O. snaked Jerry when he would go on TV and air out the team on a weekly basis.

Uhm..Word!

football sunday-wise this was a dumb move.

if ur worrying about headlines i guess this was the best thing.

me personally i dont give a damn what any of these guys does or says. all i care about is what happens on the field. i think dallas took a step backwards today sunday-wise.

when dallas is a .500 team next yr who's going to be blamed now?

My thoughts exactly, we don't need to see him twice.

Oh, he'll land somewhere unless he's just ready to retire.

But I agree -- I hope he goes far, far away. You can just imagine how much he'll torch us otherwise.

I hope I'm wrong, but anyone else have the feeling we'll be sitting here 10 months from now watching T.O. and his new team work their way to a Super Bowl? Again, hope I'm wrong.

stephen A. smith RIPPING Romo Apart.

Yeah - unfortunately Romo is white, so Screamin' A is gonna light into him. You'd think he'd give him a pass because of his heritage, but no...

I was against TO even coming to Dallas and was shocked when we did sign him. Then I got used to him, didn't like or really dislike him. He ticked me off with one too many dropped balls when he himself was calling others out for dropping balls. Anyway, he grew on me so much so I had "I Have My Popcorn Ready" sign and bought him popcorn at the Patriots game.

I agree he is a great WR, but his greatness has not been shown in Dallas. He is what 35 now? He's not young. I think he was just a good WR in Dallas. Not saying he was horrible, just not seeing the greatness I was hoping we would get with him.

Then you have to look at ALL the hoopla (what I really want to say will be censored) that comes with him. I was prepared for it, I do have some Eagle fans for friends, but geez. It gets SO old! Yes, the media makes it 10 times worse and message boards blow it out of proportion too, BUT if TO was so innocent as he claims there would NOT be this much attention on him. He's giving enough crap to the media to help stir the pot. I don't care who you are -- this attention does affect play on all players!

Our chemistry needs a lot of work, TO or NO TO. I was LIVID when I saw Crayton and Newman on ESPN saying we play better when TO gets the ball. WTH! If OUR players are thinking like that then they need to grow up. Players - offense and defense should play better no matter who gets the ball or who has more receptions! I think we are going to mesh better without him. Our locker room was divided and we can't have that. I think A LOT of our players need to learn to shut up and just play ball and say screw the media.

Now, Jerry just needs to sign Miles Austin!
