***Cowboys released Rodney Hannah *Merged***

Now Mosley can shut up about Hannah being a "great find" for the Eagles (once they or another team pick him up).

I've seen him speak about that on 3 different articles/blogs...

Enough already.

Hannah was a pass receiver and wasn't going to make the roster.

Phillips is the better blocker of the 3rd TE candidates and the one who was going to win the job. They'll throw passes to Witten and Bennett not the 3rd TE. That guy has to be be able to block, especially on the goalline and on special teams.

Chandler is a local kid but he isn't a good TE, simply not physical enough.

told you zoners, wasnt good for hannah to miss practice yesterday

getting released here is probably the best thing that could have happened to him he was never going to make the team and he's probably good enough to make some other teams

Damn. Would have rather had him than Phillips.

if phillips would make the team.
Phillips has outplayed Hannah since he's been here.

Making room for Roscoe Parrish perhaps?:eek:hboy:
They're cutting down to Tuesday's limit of 75. Pining for Parrish is only going to lead to disappointment.

Dont think the Bills will drop him?We need a PR and hes excellent at it.

I think that the Cowboys are pretty fair with the players they know they are not keeping. Instead of holding onto these guys to the bitter end, they let these guys go and give them a chance to pick up on another team.

I think Keon Lattimore deserves the same kind of deal to see if he can land a job somewhere.

He's done a nice job but he's got no chance to stick in Dallas.

they need him for the last two preseason games

he also is a guy who could have some late rd pick trade value

Hannah will have to pass through the waiver process before he can go to the Eagles, won't he?

:)
