Would not be surprised with Jared Allen. No longer a scheme fit on CHI and they signed McPhee and Woodley for their new 3-4. No way they are going to pay him $13.5 million (even though it's guaranteed). Either release or trade/renegotiated deal.

I still think Derrick Morgan is the best edge rusher available, outside of Hardy. I would be happy to add him. He can at least give us what Selvie did.

There are several grey beards on there I would like to have like Williams, Starks, Bryant, etc. but that is not our style. I would be absolutely shocked.

It's a shame. Williams has always been able to hold the line of scrimmage and did well for the Seahawks last year after Mebane went down. I'd love to see him in a limited role.

i dont see much there in the way of edge rushers so i wonder given our plethora of comp picks we are sure to receive for 2016 if we may use a 4th or 5th rounder from 2016 to trade for a guy who could pass rush for us?
some1 say like branch from the jags?who we have showed an interest n before?
Maybe a late round pck for maponga from the falcons?we were suppossed to be high on him entering the draft that year and given they just signed a couple of edge rushers?
In all honesty its the only way i see an improvement for our edge rushers prior to the draft

Not bad. Rather dance with devil we know, spencer, then take a chance with most of these guys. Spencer came to life at end of year. I'll take my chance with him with full offseason in our system.

There are 4 that didn't get tagged, pass rush was our number one need in the offseason and thus far we have failed to address it, it may not be missing the boat quite yet but we haven't bought a ticket to sail yet

Tbh not many teams use June 1st anymore to release guys when you can designate them for release in march now to not count until June

May well have to be a trade.
You might could get Jared Allen or Robert Mathis in trade as your primary 3rd down pass rush insurance.

It is a pretty ugly list. But a couple of these guys are gonna hit and be good players for whomever signs them.
While the likelihood is the top guys are gonna be terrible values their teams want to jettison after a year or two.
