can we now stop with the AP talk??
People who thought we were getting AP are the same group that thought we were going to end up with the 2nd overall pick in a 3 team trade with Wash and San Fran.

I think DMC wasn't completely healthy and Randle knew the scheme better, so they ended up starting Randle
Just saw that DMC only counts for 695k against the cap as part of the hire the elderly program

His salary is 900k with an 80k sb but we get a rebate for signing a vet instead of waiving them for a rookie or second year player

Well.....take a while guess on which one played more games last year lol.

You mean a "wild guess"?

And amazingly, the production numbers were still so close! Despite the fact that one guy never got on the field for the Cowboys!

I meant *wild.......and my point is we are debating one guy who was the 10th option on the field and one that never even stepped on the field. Chances are.....Jackson too would've been the 10th option and done nothing. But this organization didn't even feel he was that.

Even if that were true, you had a young player - that you invested a draft pick on - on a cheap, 4-year contract. And their decision was to keep another injury-prone guy for a few weeks and now he's gone too. Dumb.

In your eyes you had a shot at a championship. They went with the vet. Hardly dumb. If they wanted Darius Jackson they could have him. He's not on anyone's depth chart lol.

that is not how you build a team if you rely on the draft............you have to trust your young guys

you have a philosophy....you have to stick to it....our rookie starting RB was doing just fine

The "vet" who's done nothing his entire career but get injured. The "vet" that they took the NFL's leading rusher off the field for so he could run around and do nothing out there except tip off the defense that it was a pass play. The best thing that happened for this team was Dunbar leaving town. It's was entirely "dumb" that they wasted as much time, money, and playing time as they did on that scrub.

He's on the Browns depth chart! Were you not aware? The Cowboys foolishly thought they could get him through waivers but couldn't have been more wrong. Jackson was claimed by the vert first team that could claim him.

Yeah, the club should just go with this yrs draft picks!! Great policy..that should guarantee a 3 place position within the division. Great!

Dunbar was a young guy lol.......You rely on your best players. Young or old. You aren't sitting Sean Lee in favor of someone younger just because he's younger.

Darius Jackson did not make the depth chart of the Cleveland Browns. He was inactive every week for them. If the Cowboys want him they can get him.

Is that true?
No, no it isn't.
"Jackson was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round (216th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft, in part because of the athletic traits he displayed during his pro day.[3] He made the Cowboys 53-man roster, in order to protect his rights from being claimed by another team and was declared inactive in 14 games. On December 14, 2016, Jackson was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns.[5] He was declared inactive for the remaining 2 games."

What's untrue? He wasn't the Browns top 4 running backs.........he will be cut in due time.

You should really quit while you are way behind.......you have been nothing but wrong all day

I guess Zeke, Dak, MCollins and ABrown had nothing to do with 13-3.....they were all rookies

GB or BAL would never cut a talented rookie RB for an injured 30 year old fourth string vet

We could have 3 more cheap years from DJackson or we got 24 carries from DMC over a month with AMorris and Dunbar and a guy named Elliott on the team

Let us all know if and when he's cut. Until then, it's untrue.
