For what it is worth, Overthecap shows that the Cowboys now have roughly $14.7M in cap space. This includes the Pollard tag, and appears to include both extensions (Prescott and Martin).

They were around 18mil over the cap so they have the remaining of that 30mil they cleared. They're working on tyron, and I Elliot will be reworked next. There's your money, and they can still cut Lewis and Neville to free up more.

Bang. Let the free agents line up at the door. We're open for business.
Unfortunately, we've seen moves like this before only to watch game changing FAs sign with other teams because they know that a ring isn't in their future with the Dallas Cowboys. This organization to just too dysfunctional to compete with the better teams in the league.

Restructuring for the player is just getting money paid now. If this was agreeing to a pay cut, that would be praiseworthy.
Yeah that also means Daks cap number for next year will be in the 50m range so I guess they are likely discussing an extension.

Hate when people post it like that, making it seem like we have 229 to spend, when it's really 20-30 in non smart math terms
SInce this is the offseason (= NO GAMES) and the beginning of the NFL 2023 Year starts in 5 days (Combine just completed and Tag period in effect) -- fans should just spend a couple of hours every week on NFL.com to educate themselves in how the inner workings of the league are set up and done.
From procedures, rules, and schedules teams must follow, to players' standing with regards to career tenure, designation of roster status, contract monies earned and due (supplement research with going to Over The Cap & Spotrac), injury and suspension guidelines/rulings -----
it is a tremendous source in providing curious fans on how this muti-billion dollar industry works.

Or...you can be like 65-70% (my IMHO - no data to back it up jusf a hunch) of the teams' fanbases do...have no concern about their favorite team(s) will do each season until August.

Spotrac just updated Dallas cap, and going by the top 51 contracts Dallas has 35mil in caproom right now. Will be about 16more mil when they do tyron who is being work on right now. And then I think this is when they do elliots. Think both stay and Dallas has 51mil in caproom.

Thinks it’s actually closer to $14 mil in space
