I would be happy with Bobby Wagner, Patrick Peterson, D.J. Chark, and re-signing Donovan Wilson. All these moves at least appear realistic.
Peterson signed a two year deal with Pittsburgh

Dont think we make a move for all three, but a stab at Wagner would be worthy.

Before we get excited, remember...Jerry wanted to dump all of Cooper's money on Randy Gregory. All of it.

I wonder if our negotiating strategy is to stall the player from signing ("We really are interested") in a vain hope other teams move on and the price falls.

Depends on where Bobby wants to play at this stage in his career, and unfortunately I do not believe that Bobby is a big fan.

Wow this was an awful move. He was the third worst in terms of separation in the league last year. Cowboys have to be the worst at overpaying their own grown players.

My only reservation is having two WRs costing close to $20M and $25M once CeeDee's deal is reached, but they maybe ok on that.

Now go sign Wagner and re-sign Dono n Big Hank! Thank you.

The thing that drives me crazy with our recent roster making decisions is assuming that if we “run it back” with most of the same guys we had last year, we are somehow going to get better. Sure we won 12 games and made the playoffs but we won a wild card game…that’s it.

If we don’t improve the roster at several positions, why would we assume we will be better?

Fowler was decent last year for sure but over the last 3 years, he’s averaged about 4 sacks a year. He’ll be 29 at the start of next season. Not old for sure but I don’t expect some kind of break out year either.

Bottom line on resigning Fowler- does he make us BETTER? I don’t think so. He’s ok but is that what we need more of?

Thought he was interested last year.... or was I taken in by Jerry Spin?
