It is an ugly side of the biz but Zeke saw how Gurley's fate went. Zeke seems more likely to be able to contribute as a 2 and thrive in that like Jerome Bettis did.I think they will keep Zeke on the roster at his current cap number, if he does not take a pay cut, then they will see what they come out of the draft with, and if they like what they have they will cut Zeke and he will be hitting free agency at a really bad time.
Time is on the Cowboys’ side this time around and Zeke knows that this could happen to him. So as time goes on the pressure for Zeke to take a deep pay cut builds, day by day. Cabo, in reverse.
