I think most of knew that an injury to our QB could end the season. We just didn’t expect it in the opener.

Not likely we can contend without a starting QB in a division which looks improved .

At least we can now focus on our youth movement without any pressure of winning now.

There is no basically. It's 100% over. And it has nothing to do with Dak's injury. The first 50min of the game should have told you. OL is weak. WRs are terrible and yes, this includes Ceedee. Defense while hung on for dear life, let Tampa drive up and down the field on them. Especially on the ground. The only bright spot on this team is Parsons but he will be another wasted talent under the Jones regime.

Tampa was driving up and down the field with a third of their offense missing. Our dline is garbage

Exactly. All the defense did was make a few situational plays when Tampa was deep in their territory. They did not really play well except Parsons making some plays. They never actually imposed their will on Tampa. Don't believe Tampa punted until the 3rd. It was the SF playoff game all over again. They got whatever they wanted.

Remember, Von Miller wasn't worth it. All they did was brag about their "depth" of this DL. That always tells you they don't actually have a lot of talent, they just have a lot of guys.

The season was over before the injury to Dak.

I tried to tell ya'll this wasn't a good roster on offensive and the defense wasn't good enough to win it alone.

You all can call me whatever you want, but you can't call me wrong.

What youth movement?
Outside of corners and safeties it's not like there's any hidden gems at RB, WR, OL, and LB.
You got Sam Williams who IIRC just played ST and Bland then the two safeties who ended up inactive.

No, you were trying to put lipstick on a pig.

We have only done as well as we have because our division has been GARBAGE for some years.

It no longer is; we can longer bet on 4-5 wins a year.

The reality is that if our division had been even NFL average we would not have made the playoffs anywhere near as much as we have..

We are just like the Patriots who benefited for so long from a horrible AFC east division. Which no longer is horrible and they have come down to earth.

It is beginning to be clear that while clearly BB is a great coach; he was not the genius we thought he was. HE was the beneficiary of several pieces of luck: a terrible division; a HOF QB dropping right into his lap; and he was an excellent D coach who put together a real machine because he had an excellent FO.

The Jones boys are finally and once and for being exposed for the jokes that they are.

Didn't Miller have 2 sacks the other night?

The guy is a beast. ONe of the most amazing players I've seen in...I don;t know.

I thought Zeke and Noah were having good games...and Moore REFUSED to capitalize on it. Infuriating.

Let's force it to CeeDee and show Tony can be a #1 RB instead.

Yes, I was being sarcastic about that. Every free agent according to us is overpriced and not worth it. Bills will be very happy going after Miller.

Our DL is disgusting against the run again.

IF we had a Kitna or Kosar or Beuerlein the season would not be over because the QB went down. Its over because of the other failures of the Jones

I was surprised to see Smith play well for his first game, Tampa is no defensive slouch. Steele on the other hand is nothing more than reserve caliber IMO
