No, you were trying to put lipstick on a pig.

We have only done as well as we have because our division has been GARBAGE for some years.

It no longer is; we can longer bet on 4-5 wins a year.

The reality is that if our division had been even NFL average we would not have made the playoffs anywhere near as much as we have..

We are just like the Patriots who benefited for so long from a horrible AFC east division. Which no longer is horrible and they have come down to earth.

It is beginning to be clear that while clearly BB is a great coach; he was not the genius we thought he was. HE was the beneficiary of several pieces of luck: a terrible division; a HOF QB dropping right into his lap; and he was an excellent D coach who put together a real machine because he had an excellent FO.

The Jones boys are finally and once and for being exposed for the jokes that they are.

Most people have known the Jones' were terrible managers for a long time. Problem is, they see themselves differently or simply don't care.

I was surprised to see Smith play well for his first game, Tampa is no defensive slouch. Steele on the other hand is nothing more than reserve caliber IMO
Smith is raw but has the talent. Steele will never be more than a JAG despite so many bleating about him.

And I started Dak on my fantasy team. I was licking my chops for his 300+ yards in garbage time! But he did live up to his usual suckiness - on third and long he threw it to Dalton Schiltz for a 3 yard gain - LIKE ALWAYS !!!!!

The issue is I know exactly how this season is going to go. Dallas will win 2 MAYBE 3 games in Dak's absence. We are in a weak division and really kind of a weak NFC. There is no team I look at in the NFC that outright is going to run away with the conference. Dak will win enough to either win the weak division or get the 7th seed and everyone will be so hopeful then in the first round, they will get stomped, Jerry will spin it that we made great strides under immense pressure and turmoil through the season and still made it to the playoffs. Rinse and Repeat and onto next year.

Basically, yes.
Terrible QB. Iffy line. Iffy receivers. Iffy defense. Iffy coaches. Terrible GM.
27 years folks...27 years....lol

I felt Eagles were always going to win division with Washington second. Yes, season is over, get top draft pick, but they wont have the guts to draft a top QB.

I think most of knew that an injury to our QB could end the season. We just didn’t expect it in the opener.

Not likely we can contend without a starting QB in a division which looks improved .

At least we can now focus on our youth movement without any pressure of winning now.
Your post is ridiculous, negative, and probably true.
