They looked better than the Cowboys
Not hard to do.
They looked better than the Cowboys
Kills me people couldn't see this coming...gonna have to dig up some old posts to prove it. This franchise is ran *** backwards...I think most of knew that an injury to our QB could end the season. We just didn’t expect it in the opener.
Not likely we can contend without a starting QB in a division which looks improved .
At least we can now focus on our youth movement without any pressure of winning now.
The problem as Aikman pointed out earlier this week is all great receivers need a 2nd and 3rd receiver who demand some respect from defenses. The QB play was really bad for the whole game don’t remember Dak having this poor a game. All those who said Coop was garbage and CD was a #1 don’t think that now. The 88 club should kick one off the club until he deserves it.
Most sound analysts and media warned of these concerns. Shouldn’t be hard to findKills me people couldn't see this coming...gonna have to dig up some old posts to prove it. This franchise is ran *** backwards...
Always trying to reinvent the wheel...
Football is not hard...
Yet..we turn it into brain surgery...and muck it up...constantly.

But even when we had a stronger supporting cast around Dak we still struggled against better teams.I think it was basically over in the off-season when we ditched almost any talent at WR and didn’t do enough to build the OL…not to mention the DT group…
I think this game exposed Dak once and for all so I think it was over with or without Dak honestly
Remember the soon-to-be 80 year old Jerry Jones owns this team. That’s certainly how things feel today. The team looked totally unprepared with their high-priced starting quarterback. They have no receivers that scare anyone, and the offensive line is a patchwork mess.
Even what was supposed to be an even better defense disappointed.
Rather than mortgaging the future on any quick fix to save face fur ownership mistakes (like the Cooper trade), take your lumps and look to the future. That goes for coaches, players, and (hopefully) organizational decision making in the future.

There is no basically. It's 100% over. And it has nothing to do with Dak's injury. The first 50min of the game should have told you. OL is weak. WRs are terrible and yes, this includes Ceedee. Defense while hung on for dear life, let Tampa drive up and down the field on them. Especially on the ground. The only bright spot on this team is Parsons but he will be another wasted talent under the Jones regime.
After seeing Dallas play last night, we can lose just as easily with Copper as we can with Dak.
Especially now with a starting QB with injury history.I tried saying how likely it was. And if it did happen, how much talent we lack at back up.
Some say it doesn't matter, but this matters. They just didn't address it.

I said earlier this year that the rest of Dak era is looking more like Romo era with injuries.
YepFrom now forward, we should always have a legit backup.

Yep
And probably use a fairly high pick on a QB.
There was a thread here several weeks back about regardless of the outcome of game 1 to not make snap judgements. I think that would be true had Dak not get hurt. It was a pitiful offensive performance, but by all means the season wasn't over. Missing your starting QB for 7-8 games probably is though.
I don’t know what we have in Grier, but we do know what we have with Rush. Start and play Grier and see what happens, or trade for a QB. There is very little reason to roll with Rush. It’s a waste of opportunity.
read your previous posts and you will see plenty of dumber things
