Drafted by Cowboys Cowboys select Oregon G Ajani Cornelius

You know I'm seeing a lot of people on Twitter that are Oregon fans they say this guy can be a great right tackle they watched him play his whole entire time there they say they think he's better than Terrance Steele and he compares to Lael Collins..

I mean I don't know I don't know anything about him and I'm not happy about the pick but we did get Collins undrafted because of some off the field groomers maybe this guy is going to be one of those draft picks that we got like they're on bland that we can't believe he ended up on the team and maybe it becomes a starter at right tackle someday...
Yeah mister over reaction oh no we are playing eight offensive lineman I don’t understand what are we doing. Could you send me next weeks lottery numbers since you are all knowing. Blowhard

I can’t remember seeing anything that had him rated higher than a 5th!
Just don’t see anyone dropping a 3rd on a RB with only one season of production over 500 yards if he didn’t even break 1k in that season!

Bond has since stated “ alcohol makes him do things”, tried to intimidate her into signing a non disclosure agreement, and tried to pay her off.. which may be a crime in itself. Even if someone signs him and he makes the team, the NFL is most likely going to give him a suspension!
I'm sorry man I hate to break it to you but some better running backs have dropped out of the draft or dropped down in the draft it's not about his yards it's about what his potential is his production you realize he was on one of the type of offenses that sarkesian is a spread the ball around guy that's why none of the receivers had inflated numbers they had like a running back room that had five guys in it they rotate these guys in and out a lot but what I saw is every time my Longhorns needed something to happen where their offense was stagnant this is the kid who did it he's a spark plug he is not a gadget player he is not a 3rd down only back he is rated much higher than a 5th round pick because he didn't get the numbers it's one of those things where you just ended up lost in a bunch on a team but whenever he had his opportunities he made the best of them the dude was an absolute weapon just because he only had five hundred yards doesn't make him less of a player..

You obviously don't understand context and perspective I watched him play that is why this kid if he can curtail his fumbles that's the only reason he fell it was a deep draft of running backs he got lost in it that's a great thing for the Cowboys i'm telling you he's built like Jamir Gibbs he's the exact same height weight in the same speed he's not much smaller than Emmett Smith he does a lot of things very well. Look I know man you had a list you wanted your list since your list didn't get fulfilled everything the Cowboys took was bad...

That's not how I look at things and yes you're probably right about bond it doesn't mean you can't give him a look been plenty of other personalities and flaws and warts on players in the NFLI get why he didn't get drafted but why he's still out there you can find a way to bring him on the team and see if you can get him worked out.. You put them on a very careful contract you tell them look we're going to give you a shot and we need to get you cleaned up any sign of you screwing up makes your contract no invoice you stick to whatever it is they ask you to do with therapy and AA or whatever it is if they help the kid along he's got a lot of talent sometimes you should give a guy a second chance he hasn't even been convicted of anything I get it I do i'm just saying he'd be a great asset to this team if they give him a shot..
I can tell you this though you're very wrong about Jayden Blue and you're going to eat your words tony Pollard didn't do squat in college either ended up here got an $11 million franchise tag and now he's a starter with the Titans.. Most thought he was just gonna be a third down back and they didn't know who he was and I'm telling you this is a young Tony Pollard type but he's built like Jamir Gibbs that is a positive thing and we'll find out who's right and who's wrong in the next couple of seasons but this is not a deuce vaugn situation..

I like this pick quite a bit. I had a feeling they'd go after him, with the Oregon connection.

Maybe he replaces Steele long-term, but at the very least, a G/T depth player who is significantly better than Waletzko. Having both Ajani and Richards on the roster is great depth.

Plus, cool last name.

He started a lot of games in NCAA.

Solid.

2nd team All American/All Conf

Steele has competition.

He didn’t fall, he was always a 5th or 6th because he’s small, frail, fumbles and doesn’t understand his assignments in pass protection!

Almost. 17 on the roster right now. Not counting UDFA.

Tyler Smith
Tyler Booker
Cooper Beebe
Terence Steele
Tyler Guyton
Brock Hoffman
Asim Richards
Nathan Thomas
Ajani Cornelius
Robert Jones
Matt Waletzko
Saahdiq Charles
Hakeem Adeniji
T.J. Bass
Dakoda Shepley
Earl Bostick
Jack Anderson

Don’t bother, man has been going on comparing him to Jamir Gibbs since he was drafted. Saying they are basically the same player because they are similar size and speed. Leaves out the fact that Gibbs was a first round selection so there was quite a different view from the entire league on the talent differences between these two. Reminds me someone trying to say yesterday that some Dallas scouts said he was the #3 running back in this draft, yet they waited till the 5th round to take him. Just nonsensical positions people take to win arguments in their heads that most people don’t care to entertain.

Real question is how does the starting lineup even stack up against the division.

Eagles still have Jordan Maialta, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jergens, and Lane Johnson.

Commanders added Laremy Tunsil and Josh Conerly Jr at tackles to go with Biadasz and Cosmi and their starting tackle Brandon Coleman from last year

Looking at the giants I definitely put them above them. I’d still put the eagles at the top but the commanders line looks quite upgraded compared to a year ago. I’d say it’s looking like even with Booker the boys are playing for second best line in the east.

It will be good to see the competition between Cornelius and Steele. Assuming the Cowboys leave him at RT.

With all of the lineman on the roster, the Cowboys are going to probably attempt to move some during camp for 6th or 7th round picks or in a mild player swap.
