if we’re gonna start a teardown soon get rid of Trevon Diggs tomorrow.

We can actually still be competitive down the stretch without this business decision making fraud of a player.

The Giants have a defensive back Banks - who did exactly what Diggs did two weeks ago no showing tackles half assing it etc - and they have torn into him. The fans have called him out. The radio stations have called them out Brian Dabel has spoken to him. Etc

If Jerry makes one move before this off-season - this is it.

I never thought I would say this about Diggs, but yes, if he is going to run away from contact, I would love to move him too. Can't have a physical defense when the DBs won't make contact. It is not a good lesson for the young players either.

You're probably not going to get anything better than a comp pick for Diggs right now, so why bother?

I wasn't a fan of re-signing him, but give him some time to get back to normal.

You can't win with a player like him unless there's a defender who will punch him in his face for playing like a weasel. Instead he has his "best friend" on the defense. So......yea

It would be a good idea to trade Diggs.

I'd shop anyone with a big contract at this point. Except for the greatness we have at QB obviously, he's a keeper!
The qb would be fine with the running back that they refused to sign.

2 year recovery? He didn't hurt his shoulder or back. There are guys out there playing with legit injuries who are hitting, and it shouldn't take a new DC to entice him to play football
An ACL is very often two seasons until a full recovery is made. He’s never been an aggressive tackler nor is he ever likely to be. A new DC won’t fix that but a new DC may actually play to Diggs strengths.

You already paid the guy, we know upside is there since we’ve seen the turnovers. To me it isn’t worth losing cap money unless someone over pays in a trade. I’d rather roll the dice on him for next year and if he doesn’t improve the cap ramifications are more in your favor a year from now.

It would've been a nice signing but not nearly enough for a team that did absolutely nothing in the offseason. Just a slap in the face. This D stinks, they're getting demolished and run over and management once again over values what's here. This is not a good football team.

He did tear his ACL last year. Let's see how he does the rest of this season. I don't like that he avoided contact, but, maybe, let's see how he does. If he still has issues towards the end of the season, then he would probably make a good post season trade. I think we could get a 1st for him, and this draft class has some good corners.
