l)
adj.
1. Capable of living, developing, or germinating under favorable conditions.
2. Capable of living outside the uterus. Used of a fetus or newborn.
3. Capable of success or continuing effectiveness; practicable:

Unless you were going with the living definition, how exactly is the worst defense in the NFL capable of success or continuing effectiveness? No matter how you want to define it, Rob Ryan did not inherit a "viable" defense in New Orleans.

As for the comparison,

Last year the Saints were: #31 in yards and #32 in points; meanwhile, the Cowboys were #19 in yards and #24 in points. So yes the New Orleans defense was in fact worst than our defense last year. But by all means keep telling yourself otherwise if it makes you feel better about life.

What do holie means?

Crawford, Ratliff, and Spencer are out and at least two of them were expected to play. Ware has been hurt too. Our issues on defense are you can run over our edges and we cannot mount a pass rush.

Firing Kiffin won't fix that. What we need is Ratliff to come back and Ware to get healthy. I am not holding my breath.

Damg.I feel like such a defender of the obvious today.

Kiffin's D has been devastated by injuries. It's not an excuse, just a fact. And when you are playing people off the street and off the couch, days like this will happen. If there is blame to be assigned, blame jerra for lavashing millions on Spent and the Rat and depending on them to play.

Rob Ryan had a lot less to work with last year and seemed to manage just fine. Maybe i was watching a different team, but last year towards the end of the season our D was looking great.

oh please, injuries were an excuse last year.

This year Kiffins schedme isnt even putting guys in position to make plays.
Teams figured out how to beat the scheme 8 years ago.
Since then it got mutilated in college and is getting mutilated here because he is so stuck in the late 90's / early 2000's and think s that a personnel package consistiung of 2 lbers can match up to a 4 wr grouping on offense.
Its laughable how simple it is to beat.
Posters told us it wouldnt work, they saw it get abused in college but we were told ove and over than NFL defensive players would not allow that to happen, well guess what, its happening, big time and Kiffin wont adjust because there's nothing in his playbook that allows him to adjust.

correct....I was part of a VERY vocal minority on here that said hiring him was a huge mistake. All the kool aid drinkers shouted me down. Well...it didn't take long to know why this 'system' isn't used much anymore in this league. Put him out to pasture with his worthless kid.
