The Dave Campo connection pays off in spades yet again.

Looks like a smart kid, possible DB QB for defensive side of ball. They need someone that can set up their alignment and make adjustments.

I googled Patmon and, well....

I googled him and this comes up

love this

btw, I REALLY love your pic in your sig....

Thanks, can't take credit for it though -- I found it near the top of a Google search for Zack Martin (aside from pictures of some blonde teenager lol)

5'10" 180 lbs.

That is sadly the case. A lot of good corners are getting bypassed with the trend for height and "length". It is almost as if teams are really overweighing the physical aspects in an overreaction to the idea that they just can't defend the big WRs. What is a good indicator about this player is that he has a lot of tackles for loss. That indicates he has the skills to blitz, can tackle and is not afraid of physical contact. That is probably where Kiffin got the idea he is similar to Barber.

Seems a tad early for Monte Kiffin to be comparing Patmon to Ronde Barber -- guess the old fella just got carried away some.

I don't think he was saying he will be the next Ronde Barber, just saying he reminds him of Barber. Maybe it's his work ethics, attitude, style, his demeanor.

Coaches tend to identify traits of prospects that they have in common with past players. Parcells did the same thing.
