Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Al-Quadin Muhammad to 1 year deal

What about him?
27 sacks in 6 seasons isn’t actually all that impressive and then there’s the always injured thingy!
He's better than the two slugs we signed.

He's worth the risk over the other two IMO.

Is anyone even surprised!!?? Next time Lawson should post nothing and we would have signed him lol

So— to be clear— we “replace” a player that was expected to play 75% of the snaps according to Zimmer— with TWO guys who will play 0% of the snaps?

And this is a “solution” the front office puts forward to the Williams injury?

There is incompetence— and then there is malpractice lol

During his time in Indianapolis, Muhammad displayed a combination of great burst and a physical play style, which made him a favorite for Eberflus. From 2019 to 2021, the three full seasons he spent with the team, Muhammad tallied at least 24 pressures each season and averaged just over an 8% pressure rate over that time.

(Following his dismissal from Miami, Muhammad entered the 2017 NFL Draft and was picked in the sixth round by the Saints. New Orleans went on to cut him one year later, when he was claimed off waivers by the Colts. In Indianapolis, Muhammad played for newly-hired defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, who had come to the Colts from Dallas.)

Kneeland is going to play a larger amount of snaps now. Whoever is #4 at end will get limited snaps . Golston or Fehoko could get some snaps at end as well.

Who knows? Lawson could have been a total scrub at workouts. Muhammed might have some kind of usefulness, as an emergency DE guy who grabs 10 snaps a game. If this is another cash stash by the front office; like Zack Moss. I am going to be a little perturbed.

Fehoko seems like the more likely candidate. I still think they are going to use Golston as a pass rushing DT.

When (not if) other teams come asking to trade him, im not taking anything less than a rd 2 pick

Lol, like what? You don't like our team?
Honestly I don’t think they tried to win a title this year. I think it was a mini rebuild. Let some contracts expire etc.

I’m not necessarily against that. Because every team has to do it from time to time.

But yeah that’s what I think this season is. So I don’t expect them to compete for a title. I’m thinking playoffs again, but nothing more.

IF you bother to look at the actual stats he got those 27 sacks in 74 games which works out to 5-6 sacls a season average
and he had a career high of 7.5
just which defensive lineman on this team can match that let alone beat it?

I expect them to win the division and compete.
