Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Al-Quadin Muhammad to 1 year deal

No because the guy isn't all that good and is coming off a PED suspension.

He was cheap which was the most important criteria for Stephen.
Looks Luke they decided to go 2 for the price of 1

So— to be clear— we “replace” a player that was expected to play 75% of the snaps according to Zimmer— with TWO guys who will play 0% of the snaps?

And this is a “solution” the front office puts forward to the Williams injury?

There is incompetence— and then there is malpractice lol
Is almost like they're afraid to have any success. They seem to want a weak roster. Zero attempt to improve what's in the building.

lol. Bottom of the barrel dumpster diving.

I’m shocked.
Hey, he was a sixth round draft pick! Who's that other 6th round pick I'm thinking of? Hmmm.

Oh yeah, Tom Brady.

All sixth-round picks turn out to be All Pros, right? We're good at DE now!

Fehoko seems like the more likely candidate. I still think they are going to use Golston as a pass rushing DT.
Talk about a guy that has a lot to prove...Fehoko was a reach as a 4th round pick....and couldn't even live up to that pick. Now he's being counted on to contribute...Wil McClay can't scout D-Line worth a crap.

Lol,
Who’s all that out there at this stage?

IF you bother to look at the actual stats he got those 27 sacks in 74 games which works out to 5-6 sacls a season average
and he had a career high of 7.5
just which defensive lineman on this team can match that let alone beat it?
And there in lies the issue… can’t contribute if you can’t stay on the field.
Same year Lawson had 7 2022, Muhammad had 6.

I won't be surprised if Golston and Fehoko play end some in our run base. Both are bigger players for ends who can help set the edge and give Kneeland and Lawrence breaks so they can be out there on pass downs.

It's not likely either Golston or Fehoko will contribute much as pass rushers. And I would think we primarily use them inside for that in relief of Odighizuwa. Golston may also get some snaps on run downs at 3-tech in rotation with Osa.

I think even with these signings that our rotation will look like this:

Early downs: Kneeland/Golston, Mazi, Odighizuwa/Golston, Lawrence/Fehoko
Passing downs: Kneeland, Odighizuwa/Golston/Fehoko, Lawrence, Parsons

Toney or Muhammad might be in the rotation at end on passing downs to give Kneeland some plays off. I think most of Parsons' relief will come at linebacker, with Clark rotating in.

Hey, there is another defensive end on the Colts that they actually kept. Anyone remember Isaiah Land?

I remember a few of us saying this was a dumb move to let him get away with so many DEs that might leave the team in 2024?

Does it just make too much sense to go get Yannick Ngakoue?

With two newly-signed defensive ends on the roster, namely Shaka Toney and Al-Quadin Muhammad, it was my mission to key in on their ramp-up on Friday. Muhammad didn't appear to have much rust at all, if any, putting Earl Bostick in the spin cycle on one occasion in 1-on-1 drills and showing his speed rush on another. The bottom line is the veteran came into camp ready to compete. - (Patrik Walker)
