Easily the best FA signing by Cowboys, imo ... i am actually quite surprised that as much cap space as Wash has,
and as very productive as the 10 sack Fowler was in '24 for Commandoes, that they could not re-sign him.

Their Loss, Our gain. we really needed legit pass rushers among our DL front. That really eases the urge
and pressure of depending strictly upon an ACL recovering Sam Williams to aid Parsons.

Dallas was lucky that Fowler was available ,and to their credit Dallas signed him.

Well, he had a good season that earned him some money, but he also was playing with some strong DTs.

Dallas needs to draft Kenneth Grant to help these pass rushers succeed .Grant is a pocket collapsing beast in the middle of the defense and can pressure the QB from the nose tackle position.Dante Fowler will have his best year over 10 sacks and numerous pressures under Eberflus.

Fowler has been pretty productive in the past several years. I think Dan Quinn made a money-saving decision that he'll regret.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I think 12 is a little rich with him, but with a small trade down, I feel we'd be in a sweet spot to take him, Nolen or Harmon. Nolen is my favorite because I think he's a solid run defender who can also get after the passer, but I wouldn't be upset with any of the three.

From what I have heard it was a money issue. That's what was behind Fowler's tweet about disrespect. Man got 10.5 sacks playing around half the defensive snaps last season and Washington low-balled him.

Kind of weird it was the Cowboys that out-bid for him. Maybe revenge on the Commanders was another factor.
