I don't know much about Robert Jones or some of the others ,But some of these players look the part.DE Turner from the saints has some length to him .Sanborn LB bears looks like a player on 1st and 2nd down .Say his name - Robert Jones.
These are Super Bowl moves, folks.
C'mon, guys. Positive reinforcement.
Lawson looked descent hope they bring him back,Turner looks promising as well.I doubt he’s back since they signed Turner as well
They have done more than normal that's for sure , but big spenders they are not.Congrats to Jerry & Stephen for finally parting with some of that do-re-mi that you guys have!
Is this the long-awaited birth of the newfound Big Spenders From Big D? Well, it's about time!
Dallas was lucky that Fowler was available ,and to their credit Dallas signed him.Easily the best FA signing by Cowboys, imo ... i am actually quite surprised that as much cap space as Wash has,
and as very productive as the 10 sack Fowler was in '24 for Commandoes, that they could not re-sign him.
Their Loss, Our gain. we really needed legit pass rushers among our DL front. That really eases the urge
and pressure of depending strictly upon an ACL recovering Sam Williams to aid Parsons.
Dallas needs to draft Kenneth Grant to help these pass rushers succeed .Grant is a pocket collapsing beast in the middle of the defense and can pressure the QB from the nose tackle position.Dante Fowler will have his best year over 10 sacks and numerous pressures under Eberflus.Well, he had a good season that earned him some money, but he also was playing with some strong DTs.
Fowler has been pretty productive in the past several years. I think Dan Quinn made a money-saving decision that he'll regret.Anyone know why quinn let fowler go ???
I wouldn't have a problem with it. I think 12 is a little rich with him, but with a small trade down, I feel we'd be in a sweet spot to take him, Nolen or Harmon. Nolen is my favorite because I think he's a solid run defender who can also get after the passer, but I wouldn't be upset with any of the three.Dallas needs to draft Kenneth Grant to help these pass rushers succeed .Grant is a pocket collapsing beast in the middle of the defense and can pressure the QB from the nose tackle position.Dante Fowler will have his best year over 10 sacks and numerous pressures under Eberflus.
From what I have heard it was a money issue. That's what was behind Fowler's tweet about disrespect. Man got 10.5 sacks playing around half the defensive snaps last season and Washington low-balled him.Anyone know why quinn let fowler go ???
Screw you too, buddy. Most of us are long time Cowboys fans, not pathetic banner chasing losers.1 year at 8 million. For a retread. Pathetic how little it takes for Cowboys Nation to get excited again. Loser culture.
I can do either FA or draft. If we upgrade DT, and hopefully we do, I’m sitting Mazi.Where are you wanting this help to come from FA or draft? And do you think that if you draft one high should they start? And who are they sitting
My understanding is that he didn't play well in run defense. Not really sure why Quinn, who values pressure, would make that a deal breaker.Anyone know why quinn let fowler go ???
His 1st year as a Cowboy under Quinn he got 6 sacks, then he dropped to 4 sacks. Quinn got him up to 10.5 sacks last year in Washington. My understanding is that he didn't play well in run defense. Not really sure why Quinn, who values pressure, would make that a deal breaker.
I'd be interested in seeing if there's a difference in his snap counts. I know that here, he was really just a sub, coming in primarily when Lawrence and Parsons needed a break. I don't know if he got more opportunities last year. His 1st year as a Cowboy under Quinn he got 6 sacks, then he dropped to 4 sacks. Quinn got him up to 10.5 sacks last year in Washington.
Now we get see what Eberflus can do with him.

I agree. If Mazi was a 5th rounder he’d be benched or at least we would be looking for his replacement. He’s a 1st rounder and that’s the main reason he’s been given so much patience. This is one thing I HATE about Jerry. Just admit he’s not what we were looking for. Trade, replace, or look to upgrade. Take the loss in the media and make the team better.Ok that fair I just don’t see Jerry admitting he screwed the pooch with Mazi and drafting another high
