What an absolute disaster DT is and you can thank the two stooges in charge for this. Who knows when Jerry and his doughboy of a son will realize how important DT is. And no, you can't just throw a random #1 pick at the position every 10 years to fix it.

And by the way, the #1 pick you used on a DT was for a run plugger, a non-dynamic player. So they didn't even add a potential game wrecker at DT. They added a guy whose ceiling was pretty much develop into a solid, run stuffing DT. So they didn't even do that right.

We usually just kind of laugh and chuckle at the dumb stuff they do. Like bringing back Elliott was chuckleworthy. Thinking WR by committee was smart was chuckleworthy.

But what they have done at DT isn't even funny anymore. It's pathetically stupid. Everyone and their mother can see it, except for the two most important people.

And I have ZERO doubt that if/when this season goes off the rails, in part because the DT play is suspect, these two dipwads will do the EXACT same thing next year - nickel and dime the hell out of the DT position yet again.

Hate to say it....because I was a big fan...he's not what he used to be. He's put on some bad weight...and moves about as well as Bohanon now. I can see us making a deal like that though...and getting taken to the Joey Galloway cleaners again. That my friend...would suck.

Cracks me up...you look @ the history of Jimmy vs Jerry. What did Jimmy do? He drafts a QB #1 overall...then he trades for the #2 overall DT Casillias...then drafts DT Russell Maryland in the 1st. Since Jimmy has left....It hasn't even crossed Jerry's mind to draft a DT ir a QB with a 1st round pick. It’s night vs day between the thinking. You get what you pay for....and you would think Jerry would have eventually figured that out. But Nope....still counting the ineptitude.
