In any event, he figures to be a step up from the likes of Maliek Collins, who was seldom able to maintain his health for a year.

Here's another funny fact of life. Many of us wanted to sign McCoy last year, and "we were told" that we didn't need him and he wasn't worth it. And now those very same people will be trumpeting what a great move this is today. Funny how that works too, isn't it?

Besides, if we wait for things to play out before getting upset about an outcome we don’t yet know to be true there is a risk of missing the chance, and we really don’t want that to happen.

Yes, but he’s played every position on the line from NT to stand up DE. He’s been beat as a 3-technique and that’s where he’ll play here
