What exactly is he supposed to do here? He's got a 300 plus pound athletic monster coming at him unabated. If Clinton-Dix tries to take him on he'll get washed out of the play. So he does the smart thing and tries to keep containment the best he can until help can arrive.

Sometimes Sturm isn't as smart as he thinks he is.

Definitely an upgrade, and he is a playmaker relative to the prior safeties in Dallas.
