According to reporting by Slater (if accurate)...Hendrickson is a no sale. Reportedly they are not going to "double down" on a second big money Edge. I think they could possibly do something in the 10 - 12 mil range. Someone like Joey Bosa.

It would not surprise me. I checked the last 10 years and Cedric Thornton was the most spent in FA on a 4yr $18M contract overall. I did not check per year numbers of any of the signings.

The situation here is that Dallas needs players who can make an immediate impact, and with the degenerative injury they found on him, it's unlikely you'll have Down for the entire 2027 season, so I don't see him as a viable option with the 12th pick if he's available. I see Thieneman a few picks lower as a more viable option.
