You are right.

I should just sit around and leave my brain at the door and post smh like you do.

Smh!

Smh!

Wow, that makes me feel better.

Thank you.

Your arrogance is profound.

It's not about leaving your brain at the door, but recognizing that the teams scouts spend a little more time watching game film than posters on this board and are aware of what the coaches are looking for scheme wise.

And if what you say is true, no coaching staff, no personnel director, head coach, GM or anyone else would ever be fired.

There is a difference between questioning something and saying you know better.

Unless, of course, you do check your brain at the door.

Good thing Dallas allowed the league leading rusher to walk to their number one rival so they could fit this All-Freakin-Pro under the squeeze of the 2015 cap.

I'm saying it first. Jerry Jones, GM of the year 2015. That may be a sig worthy prediction.

I am not saying that, you are just taking my argument to the extreme.

Scouts fail and coaches fail all the time, but we as fans are not privy to what exactly the organization is looking for. We as fans can question all we want, but to proclaim any absolutes is foolish. Many on here do not know the difference.

I think its obvious what they're looking for here. A special teams ace and depth.

I was speaking in more general terms.

I will agree with that, though many Chargers fans are upset with him leaving. He may have potential for a greater role if he fits the scheme.

We could have paid DM 10 a year and it would have been better decision than signing the last 5-6 guys we've signed. Makes no sense. I understand people saying DM was not worth what the Eagles gave him. Iunderstand that people would rather go with a cheaper RB behind this OL. Butttttt, isn't their reasoning behind that, because they want to use that money to upgrade the team, especially the defense. These guys have not upgraded the team. These are guys that would most likely be on the street if we didn't sign them. It's not even second tier guys. These are bottom of the freeking barrell guys....

Why, cause you don't recognize the names of the players? The scouting staff and coaching staff works hard at finding players, the watch tons of tape on each and everyone of them much more then any of us. It's not about a "name" it's about if the player can play and does he fit our scheme.

Have you watched this guy play? He's not good. He's almost Barbie Carpenter bad!!!

I think Wilber is a solid backup but I like this move because I never want to see Cam Lawrence playing in the base defense ever again. He is good on ST, but the team clearly has a lot of candidates for the backup LB spots now in Wilber, Brinkley, Rivers (all of whom I Iike as backups/ST guys) and also Grachkar, James Anderson and Dekota Watson competing for backup spots. Between those six guys I like the competition for the backup jobs and the top three are all capable of starting a few games if Lee, McClain or Hitchens is injured.

Then at the end of training camp Cam Lawrence will be gone when the Cowboys remove his stain from the Earth and salt the ground where it stood waive him.

Ro isn't signed, and Lee will get hurt...

Yes. Very good point. I want to use that money elsewhere to help the team.

I'm not really understanding this off season. This defense needs talent. You don't want to build your team through free agency but I don't think you should just treat it like a flea market for roster fillers either. Not with a defense so under talented. I'd have liked to have seen one significant upgrade.

But there's still time.
