I love the signing and this guy has a heap of upside and natural talent. I reckon he will break out for us and become a very solid defender.

I have a feeling the Dal D will be available in a lot of fantasy leagues this year.

Why, cause you don't recognize the names of the players? The scouting staff and coaching staff works hard at finding players, the watch tons of tape on each and everyone of them much more then any of us. It's not about a "name" it's about if the player can play and does he fit our scheme.

If it were just that easy, coaches would never get fired. They would just find cheap talent for their schemes and reap the benefits.

Who said it was easy? I see your posts often, maybe you should be on the staff. They could probably use your insight.

thats a lot of money . Bye rolando .

No, it's not. That is the max if he meets incentives and even then it's $2.5m AAV at best. Might as well cal McFaddens deal a $6mm one if you are using that reasoning.

We have lost Carter and Durant, who had similar or more expensive deals, to the guys we have replaced. From just a body standpoint we still have room for McClain and oodles of cap space with Carr still pending.

The coaches and scouting staff is what tickles my fancy, they've done a helluva job. And don't be sorry, you have your opinion and I have mine. Don't be sorry about it.

They did a great job last year squeezing out blood from a turnip. I guess it is too much to ask to make their jobs easier. Got to make those coaches earn that salary.

I'd love to see all the threads celebrating the Justan Durant signing and look at how we mourned his loss...one of these days I swear this falling sky will hit us.

I REALLY like this signing.

-Thrives as a special teams guy
-Good in run stopping
-Depth at LB with a high upside on the cheap.

Very nice signing considering we lost depth at LB.

I might be in the minority but I wouldn't resign him. Started strong out the gate then he was gone, on a show me year.

count me in,he let us down late and he has too many undesirable things going on.

2.5 million for this bum and 3 million for McFlubber at least a million a piece on the fullbacks and that already = enough money to resign.....oh ****!

If thats the case we should have resigned Carter.....not saying Im against you but Carter always played better in the middle anyways and it would have allowed Lee to move over still.

Somebody has to take up Harris' slack on ST.

That is what I am expecting, even though he has a different role in store. This means we get a better Cameron Lawrence.

Cam Lawrence and Wilber should be worried.

I think Wilber is a solid backup but I like this move because I never want to see Cam Lawrence playing in the base defense ever again. He is good on ST, but the team clearly has a lot of candidates for the backup LB spots now in Wilber, Brinkley, Rivers (all of whom I Iike as backups/ST guys) and also Grachkar, James Anderson and Dekota Watson competing for backup spots. Between those six guys I like the competition for the backup jobs and the top three are all capable of starting a few games if Lee, McClain or Hitchens is injured.

Then at the end of training camp Cam Lawrence will be gone when the Cowboys remove his stain from the Earth and salt the ground where it stood waive him.
