Both of those teams would have been ecstatic signing 2 year deals at the cheap prices they did.

But guess what.... Players have some control also. And in those prove it deals... They WON'T sign for more than a year.

You new?

Relax pops

So we are signing people to cover the fact Jaylon Smith can't play more than two downs?

If that is the case, get rid of him. Draft a LB with two functional legs.

It is not that hard.

So he’s not Lee’s insurance. He’s Smith’s.

on the bright side
Dallas might be picking very early next year

seriously though
i get that they dont have excess money and they may be still looking to get a higher talent but wow
i think i would rather move Kavon to linebacker

If that's the case, exactly what downs can he play?

I think you understood exactly what I meant.

We have dumb fans who lap up whatever the front office throws at them.

It works both ways, the dumb fans don’t always understand what is going on.

So let's see, can't play in the middle on early downs, but can't cover on passing downs...

Carry the one.

Subtract 3....

And that leaves us with zero downs for him to play!

So we used the #34 overall pick on a LB that cant cover anybody...............wow:omg:

As far as Jaylon It's all speculation right now.
What's the deal with his nerve?
His drop foot?
Jaylon HAS to show the ability to play three downs. Last year, whether it was fatigue or something else I'm not sure, his snaps had to be limited big time.
The funny thing was, he actually played well when they were limiting his snaps.
When he had to play more than 25 snaps it got ugly.

Hey, the guy certainly got better as the season progressed. But I'll also say that the bar was set pretty low early on when he had no idea what he was looking at out there.

But if the team now needs to massage its entire game plan and roster to "cover" for him? It was an epic waste of the #34 overall pick in the 2016 draft.
