I agree. I was against the pick at the time because of the foot thing.
I mean, you hear things from people like Broaddus (gotta take what he says with a grain of salt) saying his drip foot is getting better and all, but until I see it, it's just cautious optimism. He flashed big time against the Chargers.
Football's all about consistency though.
And you better have a good plan B.

Most of the issues I saw with him last year had little to do with his foot and more to do with his head. And somehow, despite sitting next to a football head like Sean Lee for over a year, he still had no idea how to process what was happening in front of him.

Mental, not physical.

What!!! So 2+ million for him ... yet we can’t sign Waddle or Fleming?!?!?

I don’t mind the signing, but felt we could’ve got a potential starting RT for that
Not really
The 90’s were fun though

no.
my guess is none of us know what he is til we see it.
maybe....they got 1 right.
I didn’t know who he was
Just took the time to look him up before attacking the signing
Likely just depth and special teams but you need those two
Likely better player overal than Wilbur lately

The Hitch replacement comes in Rd2 or 3.

How much dead money gets carried over to 2019 when he’s cut in October?

In the top 3 for sure but very well could be at 19
Depending on who is there
This draft has several nice LB prospects and no real can’t miss stars at WR but nice depth in this draft at WR
Seems like the real weakness in this draft is OT

Too bad the Patriots had both last year (2017) and neither of them cost that team $2 million.

Some teams can make shrewd deals and some are the Dallas Cowboys.

Nothing to do with shrewdness and everything to do with going to play for the best coach of all time and an organization that is actually run competently.

Some players will take less in that situation.

I like several players at 19...Ridley,Hernandez,Wynn,Davenport,Payne,Evans....the depth of this WR class could be stretched into Rd5.....LB....we better get one within 3.
Rashaan Evans,LB-Alabama could easily be the pick.
Id rather sign a vet to be our swing OT.

And the dumb fans see the same thing happening but somehow expect different results.

Well whatever..
I don’t like a lot of things either, but I am not going to constantly whine about it.

Especially not going to whine we don’t sign any players, then when we do whine about the player that is signed.
Maybe he isn’t who you wanted, not a sexy top player. But he may just work out

Many draft picks people also whine about turn out to be decent to very good.

It seemed like he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do for a good chunk of the season. I remember one running play the RB was running thru the hole right towards Jaylon and he (Jaylon) ran right past the RB into the OG.
It was very bizarre.
Towards the end of the year he was getting better at reading the play and being in the right place. That's when he started to flash some, IMO.

That's a good point too. Yet another strike against the Cowboys.

Bro, he was on our practice squad before...........we already got a good look at him.......and we pitched him in the trash

We have now gone dumpster diving and are digging him back out of the trash. You know, kinda like when you throw something away and then realize maybe you still need it and have to go digging through your garbage can to retrieve it.

That is what we just did:thumbup:
