Yep. Don't like it.

I think it would ruin an otherwise very promising season.

I'm not talking about third options, I'm talking about a viable second options at this point.

Costa is hurt and nobody knows when he'll be back.

And I do not consider Arkin or the guy who hasn't taken a single snap at center with the Cowboys 'viable options'.
You don't seem to understand that there may not be any centers available right now who are more "viable" than Arkin. Where do you think they are?

Here's a list:

Jason Brown
Casey Wiegmann
Steve Vallos
Jamaal Jackson
Matt Tennant
Andre Gurode
Chris Morris
Chris White
Brett Romberg
Bryan Mattison

I'd dump [strike]Elvis 'Toast' Patterson[/strike] LeQuan Lewis and sign any of several of these guys.

so how does this signing impact Lance Dunbar? If we brought him up from the practice squad, he would be primarily on special teams. I like what I saw from him as a KR and a RB.

Will this signing mean that there will be no chance for Lance?

Could be whatever centers out there are not worth bringing in right now. Subject to change.

Post of the day! Simple and to the point.

If there was a warm body out there that was remotely serviceable, Dallas would have at least made an effort to give him a workout. That is, of course, if they are even in the market for a backup center which I believe they are not.
