So Noah Brown goes to the bench or James Washington? Nothing against Hilton but I don't see how this helps the team much. Brown is a better run blocker and he is already playing clutch football. In the meantime, they are down 2 starting CBs and their best NT who could be out 4 weeks or more.

A true veteran receiver on offense. Will be more ready for the rest of the season than Odell would have been. That's the big difference imo. And I'm assuming he was a good bit cheaper and on a one year deal. Also he isn't super far removed from being productive. He's still likely a solid player at 33.

Wow.
His yards/target were 8.9 last year. Only Noah Brown is higher, at 9.1. And those number were coming off starting the season on IR for 6 games.

His YPT was pretty damn great for most all of his career.

OBJ hasn't even sniffed that since 2015. He was 6.5 last year.

I just love older WRs past their prime. Still often damn good, and can often be had for a stick of gum. One year deal too.

Don't know what's up with him still being available. Whether he had some injury or just wanted too much money. But he played in Week 17 last year.

I like it. I like it a lot. I'd probably take him over OBJ straight up, assuming OBJ hadn't been injured last year.

I think James Washington just got pushed off the depth chart.

Hilton over Noah when we're really going to pass.
Noah over Hilton for run/pass balance.

Good fit.

Yeah, I'd like a CB and NT, and probably more than another WR at this point, but I doubt similar quality is available or we would have already been looking into them.

I think this is a good signing, doesn't bring a circus of attention and if he can still run, he adds a ligit threat to a defense to have to deal with.

And even with a lost step, he's an extremely competent veteran WR.

I like Noah, but I put Ty at 3rd on our we depth chart *at least* when we're really passing.

I honestly can't see how anyone wouldn't like this move. Solid pick up for depth and much needed vet experience in the WR room.
