- Hilton is older, he's never offered size and physicality and he's a lot easier and susceptible to be injured.

- Dunno what his game condition will be like, but i'd think team will slowly and gradually work him in the offense, and it's very key
that he'd have to be spelled, ..spotted, and be used on a limited basis., and limited packages.
Much in the way Bucs are spotting, and packaging Julio Jones.

- He was known as a speedy mighty mouse that used to be lighting in-out of cuts and breaks, and occasional go vertical on plays deep.
But i'm not sure that's there anymore as brittle as he had become before they cut him loose from the Colts.

- i wonder what roster moves will have to be done to place Hilton to the active roster.

Simple answer he is a vet WR who understand the game and a guy who has played in big games. Much like OBJ he is not some savior but what he does bring in needed depth. If 1 WR goes down who come in? Looking around the NFL players are starting to drop. I listen to lot of people who cover the NFL and not one has said they was a bad move for the Cowboys. Hilton may not be the same player he was but he is a quality player who can help

I would say merely the playoffs which gives him time to get to whatever his “ full speed “ will be.

the regular season is almost determined for us in the standings and if TY can contribute in just a few playoff games it’s a win-win situation
I am honestly starting to think that they brought him in for the outside and Lamb will be moving to the slot. Lamb's numbers from the slot this year are outstanding.

You and I are in the same boat. When you put Risen Star on ignore, you enjoy Cowboyszone so much more.
The downside is, that most of the key signings are posted by him, and as he constantly checks for breaking news, in between reading his book, "How to be more sarcastic", he typically is the first post on any breaking news. Sadly.

There should be a feature for signings and breaking news tags that allows the thread to be seen without having to put up with Risen Star's "stir the pot, provoke others" style.

The only advantage a healthy OBJ brings is he’s much more physical
But he’s also much more injured lol
Hilton gives you a serious down the field target and a vet who is really good route runner
Heck, as many years as he spent with Manning maybe Moore should be picking his brain for some plays
theres no advantage to player who refuses to actually tryout with a workout and prove he can play, refuses to play any games in the RS to pick up the paybook and repour with the offense. OBJ was bad choice and glad he didn't come. we only need TY to be a 3rd/4th option make play here and there have soem insurance against injury,

I don’t think he can play
My suspicion is it’s not a matter of won’t but can’t
I don’t think it’s a given he could even play in the playoffs
I think they made the right choice here for sure

This is a surprise.
Does he still have any speed left in the old legs.
I would think that his old legs are better than OBJ’s crippled legs. I would think that Hilton can run faster than OBJ can limp on his routes.
