This is a potentially nice addition but I don't know why the Cowboys are going with seven receivers on the active roster. The guess here is they spend four weeks spoon feeding Hilton the offense and then potentially have a savvy veteran around for the playoffs.

This is what I am thinking, because numbers-wise this team didn't need another receiver. But he's a smart veteran leader on a young team headed for the playoffs so this is a potentially sneaky good add.

Being able to bring up players each week from the practice squad keeps you from running short at a position. I think right now, we're bringing up a corner and offensive lineman. With Armstrong down, we might bring up Takk on a call-up for a couple of weeks without adding him to the 53.
